We bought this toy originally for pegging purposes, but I have found that it's become my go-to solo play toy as well. I have a low cervix, so if a toy is too long, it becomes very uncomfortable for me very quickly, and sometimes, you just want to be able to pound away with a good dildo. It's possible with this one. I find that it's large enough and has a little ridge on the top that is great for g-spot stimulation, but for someone who needs a lot of stimulation in that area, it might not provide quite enough. It has a great flared base, as well as attached balls, so it's great for anal use as well. While it might be too big for a lot of anal players, it's fantastic for my size queen boyfriend. For someone who wants to start the adventure into larger dildos, this is the perfect stepping stone.

The Lone Star is made of AMAZING Vixskin silicone. I think that I'm going to have a hard time going back to regular silicone after using Vixskin. It feels crazy realistic, has spot-on veining, and even wrinkles in the balls. It doesn't really taste like anything, nor have any smell. When you squeeze it, it has some give to it, but is still firm, just like a real cock. The realism of this toy would be great for someone who wants to start using toys, but finds the thought of sticking something that looks like a dolphin, caterpillar, or weird swirly apparatus into their orifices a little off putting. However, this is just with regards to the material, I would say the size is far too large for a beginner.

As stated before, we originally bought this toy with pegging in mind. However, we found, as we had expected, that the balls were quite a bit cumbersome since we only have a three point harness. With a four point harness it would be ideal. However, we find that we can simply tuck the dildo up through the harness with the balls behind it and it works just fine.

I particularly love the size of this toy, it is absolutely perfect for me. I had wanted a thicker toy, and had tried the Softee Ballsy Super Cock 8". The head of it was too big, and it was way too long. This toy is -just- smaller than that dildo, and it makes all the difference.

The size is great for people who are more advanced anal players. My boyfriend loves it, but I can't imagine ever using it as an anal toy. However, if you're looking for a large, realistic anal toy, it doesn't get much better than this guy.

However, because of all of this realism, it isn't for people who are shy about their toys, and may not be suitable for travel for some people. Let's be honest, if a TSA agent pulls this out of your bag, it's going to look like one thing. A giant cock. But I'm not shy so this wouldn't be a problem in my opinion.

I love that it's not so long that it bruises my cervix, but is still wide enough to satisfy easily. Another strong point is that it can easily be taken all the way down to the balls, which add even more realistic of a feeling. While it's not a cock that I can use without some lube or a little warm up first, it's totally worth the extra time.

I do wish that it had a suction cup. With such a realistic cock, I would like to be able to attach it to a wall or the floor and go at it. However, the base is heavy and large enough that it is easily held down with one hand for upright use, like in the shower.

However, the heavy base also causes slight problems when using for pegging. The weight of the cock, while great for control, has caused bruising on my pubic bone. I can't confirm this, but I get the feeling that if we used it more often, it would stretch out the leather of our harness. Vixskin should be handled with the same care that you would give any other silicone dildo. It can be cleaned by hand with antibacterial soap, put in the dishwasher on top rack, or sanitized with a bleach/water solution that can be found on the care section of the site. I am most comfortable just washing it by hand with antibacterial soap. The material makes this toy safe to share as long as it is sanitized between partners.

A word of caution that I have heard about Vixskin is that it can, if left on its side for a long period of time, retain texture. As a result, I always make sure that I leave it upright and not leaning against anything. I also tried experimenting with powdering it with corn starch to make it softer like you would a Fleshlight, but I didn't find any particular benefit to this.
