Johnny VixSkin - realistic dildo by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Spilock

Johnny is a silicone dildo with a hearty pair of testicles at his base, meaning he's willing to go into whatever hole you put him in with gusto. No matter which orifice you choose, you should stop to consider how much size you enjoy because Johnny is in ample supply of girth. At a circumference of 6" and 1 and 7/8" in diameter, you'll probably need to warm up to the size first using a smaller toy. Be sure to keep that in mind if you're a beginner or need to invest in anything to work up to his girth.

The materials for Johnny are top-notch, to say the least. For one, it's high quality silicone that's odorless and easy to sanitize. Aside from all of the normal benefits that silicone brings with it, the variety of silicone used here is Vixen Creations' VixSkin material. VixSkin is a dual density silicone with a softer and more lifelike exterior and a firmer core. It's a remarkable material that feels relatively lifelike while remaining completely safe, though it's hard to gauge what it's like without seeing and feeling it in person. With that said, I've taken the liberty to overlay an image of Johnny from here on EF with an overlay of the areas inside it that are firm. Anything orange in the next picture is firmer than the rest of the dildo:



One thing to note about Johnny is that even though he's dual density, he's still a relatively soft dildo. That didn't bother us at all, and it was actually something that we've enjoyed out of it. If you're worried about whether or not he may be too floppy for you, look into Tuesday's review of him or consider purchasing his firmer cousin, Lone Star.

If you're still with us and think that Johnny's relative softness won't deter you, then you'll find that the materials and texture keep on giving. It's a very realistically sculpted beast, with a nice upward curve to hit G-Spots or P-Spots, and it has all of the fine details and textures that one would find on a real penis. Those textures are further enhanced by the slight glide given to them by the soft and stretchy outer layer. The softness also pays off by making the size slightly more bearable if it's at the upper limits of your girth threshold.

Overall, Johnny is superb in the materials department.

As a hand-sculpted dildo, Johnny has a marvelous design that has managed to satisfy my wife's needs rather well when we decide to pull out the toys for a night. The dual-density VixSkin material displayed above really enhances this toy; we don't have the plain silicone version but I suspect that we wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much. The realistic textures are nice, if somewhat unnoticeable, and help add to the authenticity as the outer layer of veins and textures slides around. The pronounced head and slight curve also help to stimulate the g-spot quite well. One issue we have come across is that like most silicone toys, Johnny is a lint magnet. I would recommend rinsing it off well before use, as this dildo manages to collect a hefty amount of dust even when in covered storage. The lint collecting properties also lead to a noticeable drag and stickiness in feel, but that pretty much goes away after an adequate amount of lubrication has come into play.

As mentioned earlier on, the size is still something to consider. If you're more of a size queen, then Johnny's 1 7/8" diameter probably won't bother you too much. However, he's got a fair amount more girth then I do, which means that my wife needs a pretty decent warm up prior to attempting him. Once he's in and everything is going smoothly though, it's quite nice. The softness, realistic details, and sheer girth of Johnny can lead to some pretty unique sensations that may have you coming back for more. Just make sure you can handle it before investing though.

Johnny performed exceptionally for us, and most likely will for you too. The only real considerations for whether or not that will hold true is your size limit, and how hard you like your cocks. I've mentioned size twice now for good reason; it's important that you know you can handle it first, but it will give you a great sense of fullness and pleasure if you can. The other important detail is whether you like dildos to be on the harder side or the softer side, as this one errs on the latter of those two. The inner core is pretty firm, but it does nonetheless have quite a lot of give to it. In our case, that was a great feature as it made the girth more enjoyable and it made it easier for this dildo to navigate the curves of the vagina without fault. For some however, that bendiness is a curse and will ultimately ruin it for them. I again recommend checking Tuesday's review of the Johnny if you think that may be an issue for you. If it is, then while Johnny will still be an enjoyable ride, he may not be worth the asking price for you.

If you think those two properties either won't bother you or may even be a boon, then you should seriously consider saving up for Johnny. The textures, the size,

As a silicone material, Johnny is non-porous and easy to clean. He won't harbor any bacteria, so a simple soap or toy cleaner wash will usually suffice. Even with the number of textures and wrinkles on the surface of this toy, the soft material allows you to easily rinse in between any crevices that might collect something. If you ever need to sterilize it for any reason, such as changing orifices, partners, or otherwise, then you can do so as with any other silicone toy. 10% bleach, boiling, or running through the top rack of a dish washer with no detergent will suffice for such a thorough cleaning.

In general, Johnny is low maintenance. The cleaning mentioned above will cover any usage, and it easily stores away. It easily picks up lint, so I do recommend finding some sort of storage method for it to isolate it from the elements and other toys. A zip lock bag works nicely for that purpose, though we elected to simply use Johnny's package for that purpose. He comes in a clear plastic box-like shell, which does function very well for storage. However, this is still a somewhat large toy with a somewhat large plastic container, so consider that when planning where to store it.

Finally, you can use pretty much any kind of lube with this except for silicone varieties. If you do want to try using a silicone lube with it, test a spot on the base first to see if it has any sort of affect. Even then, prolonged usage of such lubes could still cause degradation, so I would stick to water-based or oil-based lubes.

The packaging for Johnny is simple and to the point, so it gets the thumbs up from me. A clear plastic clamshell design with minimal typography keep it simple and interesting. If you opt to use the package for storage, it can be laid down horizontal or stored upright, which may be a good idea considering the dual-density core has the potential to bend overtime if it's not stored upright. That said, we've left ours horizontal on most occasions, and haven't noticed any ill effects yet.

When you get down to it all, I really don't think I could recommend this dildo highly enough. The VixSkin material is fantastic, and I'm sold on it for future purchases. My wife loves the feel of it and the times we've used it have been great fun. It's easy to clean and safe to use however you want, with proper warm up and cleaning procedures. The balls for a base are also a nice touch and make this harness compatible, if that's your goal. I'll most likely respond in a follow-up review later how it works for us as a strap-on dildo.

That said, if you think the size or floppiness aspects may be a problem for you, then please do your research on it. This is an amazing toy, but I wouldn't want you to read my impressions and waste money on something that may not work for you. If you think it will work however, then be prepared for a fun ride!
