Vixskin Johnny is a great lover, whether you use him for vaginal, anal or oral. He excels in a harness, but can also be used on his own for solo play. He's best suited for people who like toys sized above average, but he's not so huge as to overwhelm anyone but a beginner, or someone whose anatomy will only accommodate small or average sizes. He's made from Vixskin, a safe, easy-to-clean, durable, and lifelike material that should please almost everyone who likes realistic toys.

Vixskin comes closer to the texture of human skin than any other silicone material I've encountered. Johnny is the most lifelike yet in Vixen's line of realistic dildos. Like a real penis, Johnny is soft to the touch but firm in the core, like a strong erection. Johnny has some give, but expands inside soft tissue for a nice feeling of fullness. Vixskin has virtually no smell or taste, though it will temporarily pick up odors if not cleaned properly.

Johnny is shaped like an erect, upwardly curving penis, with a bulbous head, a veiny shaft and somewhat realistic and cushy balls. He looks like a beautiful, hard cock. Just looking at him makes my mouth water!

We got Johnny in Caramel (which is an apt name for the color); he's also available in Chocolate or Vanilla. The curve is excellent for g-spot or p-spot stimulation; the length and thickness should be ample to satisfy the vast majority of users (except for serious size queens).

I usually measure my toys and compare my measurements to the 'official' specifications. Johnny is advertised as being 7" long, of which 6.25" is insertable, and 6" in circumference (1.875" in diameter). I found him to be significantly longer than advertised, over 7" in insertable length and not quite as big around as advertised (but pretty close) at 5.5" around (1.75" diameter). He's girthiest at the head, at 5.625"; the shaft is 5.5" at the top and middle and 5.25" at the base. One thing to keep in mind is that all of Vixen's toys are poured by hand so there may be some variation from one Johnny to another. But I was (and AM) very pleased with Johnny's size.

I find the texture is excellent for oral play. Silicone is a great material, but most of our other silicone toys are not that great for oral. Johnny's feel is the most similar to more skin-line materials such as UR3 of any silicone dildo I've tried so far. For pegging, Johnny again excels. I have to warm myself up with a smaller toy (usually a glass plug) and to apply plenty of lube to both Johnny and myself. After that, it's a smooth (but wild) ride! His firmness makes him easy to insert (although not perhaps as easy as rigid materials like glass or firm silicone). Another benefit of Johnny's length is that he doesn't tend to pop out unintentionally as smaller toys often do. But again, he's not so huge that he pokes too deeply or uncomfortably. For me, he's JUST RIGHT!

For solo play, Johnny's balls provide a useful 'handle' and ensure that he's anal safe. He does NOT have a suction cup. I understand it's possible to buy a double-sided suction cup which should work well with Johnny's smooth base.

Johnny is made of Vixskin, which is silicone. Silicone is arguably the perfect material for sex toys. It's non-porous, so you don't have to use a condom with Johnny. Clean-up is easy. You can clean him with soap and water, which is what we do. You can sterilize him by boiling for 3 minutes, according to Vixen Creations. Because of the realistic detailing, you should be careful to clean every nook and cranny--but we've found cleaning by hand with soap and water to work perfectly.

Like most sex toy materials, Vixskin will pick up lint if there's any around, so we like to give Johnny a quick rinse before play.

Johnny comes in typical Vixen packaging, in a clear plastic clamshell case which we recycled at the first opportunity. This is not what you'd call discreet packaging! If you're giving Johnny as a gift, I'd recommend additional packaging. The label tells you that Vixskin is "Worth Every Inch" (I have to agree) and gives you the care instructions. You can store Johnny is his clamshell case if you like.

We bought our Johnny not long after Vixen first released him, over 2 years ago now. We've played with this toy I don't know how many times and he's still as good as new. He gets more play than any of our other toys.

Sometimes, if we haven't played in quite a while, he can be a little too big. If we decide, on the spur-of-the-moment, that we want to play, we usually reach for the Mustang instead. And if I'm by myself and just want to practice oral on a dildo, I usually reach for something made of UR3 or Cyberskin, because they are even more realistic than Johnny. But when I have a little preparation time, I always want my wife to strap on Johnny! He's the best all-around dildo I've seen so far. It's hard to imagine much better. If I could wave a magic wand, I'd make Johnny with full 360° balls, like the Vixskin Goodfella. And I'd somehow have someone figure out how to make silicone even more like human skin than this (again, hard to imagine). Those would be the only ways to improve on Johnny's near-perfection in my opinion.

As soon as Johnny arrived, I gave him a thorough washing. Then, I immediately put my mouth on him! I think he was my fourth Vixskin dildo, so I was quite pleasantly surprised at how lifelike he is and how much like performing oral on a real penis it was to use him this way.
