Johnny does it better.

Johnny is an amazing toy, but be sure what you're getting into if you are less experienced. Otherwise I think this is one of those toys that every dildo fan should own. He is a classic and a joy to own and play with.

Use

The Vixskin Johnny by Vixen Creations is a delicious dual density silicone dildo. My experience with Johnny was amazing, at first I was a bit shocked at his size but once I wrapped my hand around his shaft and gave him a quick squeeze my mind was set at ease. This is a larger toy but it has the ability to behave like a smaller one. He is quite the lover boy as well, the thick shaft is amazing for vaginal penetration and I'm sure those brave enough to try him for anal might be surprised as well. I am, sadly, not one of those people.

One note about Johnny which I found really interesting, being a thicker toy I would just let him rest inside me and squeeze my kegels for the most amazing sensation. And ladies, there is a lot to squeeze. This is my second Vixskin dildo and my largest, I couldn't do this with my Mustang. The squish factor is like wrapping your pelvic muscles around a memory foam pillow.

Material / Texture

Vixen Creations' Vixskin line is made 100% body safe. This means that our boy Johnny is Latex free, Phthalates free and made with a Food Grade Silicone. The toy, like most Vixskin's, has a slight tacky feeling and will collect light lint, but he is also non-porous which means you won't have to worry about trapped bacteria other than possibly behind his pronounced head.

The toy is odorless and tasteless, I loved licking my Johnny. The signature dual density silicone is plush and squishy, he does have a bit of give to him when you squeeze his head and shaft but he is also firm enough to stand at attention if sat on his base. I'd recommend the toy for those who like a firmer dildo at 1 1/2" in diameter, purely for the fact that my Vamp (at 1 1/2" and of a firmer density) was harder to insert than my Johnny Vixskin. This toy is NOT for beginners but I also must clarify, with the squish of Vixskin you can take a larger size than normal if you are comfortable with that. He is filling but not painful and he does compress rather nicely.

Design / Shape / Size

Johnny's design is very realistic and he features a rather pronounced head. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with his head hitting my pelvic bone and the head does give a nice popping sensation if thrusted. I haven't used my Johnny for vigorous thrusting but I'm sure he would be very kind to your cervix.

Johnny is 7" long, 6 1/4" of that being insertable; and 6" in circumference and at most 1 7/8" around the upper part of the shaft. He is quite a big boy but he compresses really well while inside.

The dildo has a slight g-spot curve but I'd say the toy isn't firm enough to take advantage of that. However, the sheer size of the toy does allow for a nice g-spot massage, if you will.

As said above, if you're familiar with a 1 1/2" in diameter toy of a firmer material, you might be able to play with Johnny but only if you're comfortable with the size. He's pretty big, so know what you are getting into. I wouldn't suggest this toy for a beginner.

Looking the way Johnny does, like a disembodied cock, I wouldn't call him discreet at all and his weight makes him a little less travel friendly than most but if you can swing it... go for it.

Performance

Johnny is a toy for those who enjoy a filling sensation. The silicone retains body heat and feels amazing when inside. I would sit my Johnny on his base and ride him slowly, just soft and slow movements massaging my g-spot was enough to send me into an intense orgasm. One of those orgasms where you're legs feel weak and wobbly for about 10 minutes after.

I was skeptical about being able to use him because my other toys are a Vixskin Mustang and an O2 Adam, his size is comparable to the O2 Adam but he is much easier to insert.

What can I say? I love this toy.

Care and Maintenance

Johnny is really easy to clean. Being 100% high grade silicone you can put him in on the top shelf of your dishwasher without soap for a quick sterilization. You could also boil him for 3-5 minutes or for a quick wash just give him a bath using mild soap and water.

Only use water-based lubricants with Johnny, as silicone-based would potentially melt or destroy the toy.

Remember to sterilize Johnny when switching between orifices or if sharing with a partner. I keep my Johnny in his original package but I will soon let him mingle with my other 100% silicone toys. Which reminds me, if you don't choose to store him in a bag or his packaging, please don't keep him with different materials, this could also harm him. Make sure your toys are 100% silicone if you're going to let them mingle.

The Vixskin Johnny is still one of my favorite toys and it's large and filling for those times when I need it. The head does wonders with my g-spot and I can orgasm without any extra clitoral stimulation.

I've always thought that the larger Vixskin dildos are just too large for me, but I might have to give one a go. I've also got the O2 Adam, and I really like it, but it's just a teensy bit too large for me to use very often. The Mustang has always fit my fancy, but for some reason I haven't jumped on him.

@Annemarie, yeah I asked a couple reviewers about the Johnny because I own the O2 adam as well and I didn't want something so much bigger than that. Johnny is a tad larger than the Adam but squishier so.. in a way.. he's also smaller than the Adam and has a bunch more texture.

      I was looking at the vanilla versions of vixskin dildos and they all seem to have a slightly different tone. Is that just the pictures? The goodfella for example looks way lighter than the johnny. I'm not sure, I have very fair skin and want it to match nicely, the lighter the better! Any experiences from people who own multiple vixskin dildos?
    • We have the Johnny in chocolate because we like contrast more than 'matching'. Part of it that you can never really match anyway. Happy hunting.

    • I'm shopping for a silicone dildo with balls, as well as a harness. The Johnny Vixskin measurement and detailing both appeal to me but a reviewer brought it to my awareness that for harness wear, you have to use a four point harness rather than a three point harness for obvious reasons (you can't clip at the bottom where the balls are). Looking through harnesses, it still seems to me like it's tricky for even most four point harnesses to accommodate the scrotum in between them. The harness I've been looking at is the Tantus Velvet harness that is included in the bend over beginner kit. But I want to make sure that these purchases will get along without a hitch. Can anyone speak from experience?

      The SpareParts harnesses like Joque and Theo would work great with this particular dildo and there is space to accommodate for the balls although they will be on the inside of the harness.
