Yes, It is firmer than say CyberSkin or Jelly but still can be flexed. Check out the product page. It has a picture that shows the flexibility really well.

The bottom can be placed on something and I have no idea how it works, but it sticks. Check out the photos on my blog. It is sticking to the hard wood floor.
