Pour Some Sugar On Me....
The Sugar Drop is a beautifully designed g-spot dildo. It has a bit more girth to it than other g-spot toys, but for me that is a great thing. A Silicone g-spot toy and comes in fun color and has its very own display stand. What more can you ask for in a toy?Published: September 7, 2010
Pros:
Awesome colors, acrylic stand, great size, medical grade silicone.
Cons:
May be too large for some.
The Sugar Drop is the cutest damn dildo ever. The color choices for this toy are awesome. I chose the purple, but it's a little more like a fuchsia. I am a sucker for a candy colored dildo.
This toy is lovely. It fits so nicely in my hands, not matter how I am holding it. The Sugar Drop has a great shape. There is an elongated bulbous shaft with one end rounded to a soft point. This end (with the point) has a circular, bubble design raised on the silicone. The other end curves up and flares out. I assumed that the turned up end was designed to hit the g-spot and the texture on the pointed end was to help you hold onto the toy during play. I also assumed that you could change it around and use either end. I started reading other reviews for this toy and most people are mentioning that the turned up end is the handle and the texture is to add stimulation.
I suppose that there is no wrong way to use it. Being that it is made entirely of medical grade silicone and absolutely body safe. Personally, I enjoy the texture as well as the flared end for g-spotting. I normally warm up with the textured end and then turn Sugar around to the flare and go out with a bang.
The texture on this toy is subtle. It looks subtle and it feels subtle, at first. After a few minutes of vigorous thrusting, the texture starts to irritate my skin. When it starts to bother me, I turn the toy around and use the other end. When the toy gets a little slippery, the texture does help you keep ahold of the toy.
For me the flared end is not too big, but I like a bit of girth in a toy. I think that some may find it a little large and even possibly uncomfortable. The ridge on the flare has a circumference of 6 1/4 inches. It's large, but keep in mind that it's at an angle while in your body. The thinnest part of the toy is the neck between the flair and the texture. The circumference of this neck is 3 3/8 inches. The widest point on the textured end has a circumference of 4 3/4 inches.
There is a seam that runs the length of the toy. I know that some people are very sensitive to even small textures like seams, but to be perfectly honest, this seam is the smoothest I have ever felt. In fact, in some places I can't even feel it with my my fingers, even when I am trying to feel it.
The Sugar Drop comes in a little clear plastic box that is not much bigger than the toy. The name of the toy is written across the top of the box. There is a bit of product information on the sides of the box, but the majority of the package is totally clear. Included with this toy is a clear acrylic stand. At first I was unsure really what I was supposed to do with the stand. It's cool, but it seems a little useless. Then I used the toy and realized that it's wonderful to have a place to rest the toy after use, before cleaning. It keeps slippery toys from having to rest on my bed side tables. The packaging is small enough to store the toy in, and it's pretty enough to give as a gift.
Cleanup is super easy with Sugar. Wash with antibacterial soap or toy cleaner and rinse with warm water. You can also sterilize this toy by boiling it for 5 minutes, tossing it in the dishwasher, or wiping down with a 10% bleach solution.
Water based lubes only with this toy.

I see most of the colors are out of stock - will EF get them in stock by Christmas time?

Boiling silicone/metal dildos = safe sharing without condoms?
-
If I boil a silicone or metal dildo -- or an anal plug -- would it then be safe to share with my husband without putting a condom on it? Since we are fluid-bonded, I'd hate to waste the money on condoms (they're not cheap!).
Also, if I use a dildo anally and then boil it, would it be safe to use vaginally without a condom? From what I understand, silicone and steel are completely sterilizable with boiling, but I want to be 100% certain first.
Also, can you boil Pyrex glass to sterilize for sharing? I don't yet have any glass toys -- a mistake that I will soon be rectifying! Using both anally and vaginally, as well as sharing, might be fun. -
If you're fluid bonded, I don't see the problem. Why do you need to ultra sterilize it if you're already fluid bonded? Normal cleaning should be fine.. I'm not sure I'm getting the question though maybe.

I'm not sure I'm getting the question though maybe.Normally cleaning would not be good enough since I'm concerned about transferring bacteria (E. Coli) after anal insertion to the vagina or transferring bacteria from partner to partner (not usually a problem during vaginal sex since E. Coli is found in the rectum and digestive tract).
I had thought that boiling was sufficient to kill the bacteria on silicone and metal toys, but I read a couple of reviews on EF where the reviewer recommended using a condom on the toy ANYTIME that toys were shared. But I don't see why using a condom on a toy would be necessary after boiling.
Again, I thought boiling sufficiently killed the bacteria and effectively sterilized the toy to be safe for sharing. I assumed "safe for sharing" meant that, once boiled, no condom would be needed. Just wanted to make doubly certain.

Boiling silicone dildos
-
Married coupleI have the Sugar dildo and i like it very much. I'm using it only vaginally. I know this toy can be boiled to sterilize, should I do that every time I use this silicone dildo? -

But if you are particularly concerned, boil away :) -
It's not necessary to do it every single time, no. I'd say a good scrub with liquid antibacterial soap and warm water, and boiling it maybe every fifth time or so will give you a toy that'll last for years! Remember the water should be at a rolling boil (the bubbles keep the silicone from laying on the very hot bottom of the pot) and you really only need maybe 3 or 4 minutes in the boiling water before it's ok.
