Acute - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by Eva Schwaltz

The Acute from Tantus is a nicely curved dildo that is great for G-spot stimulation. It has a flared base, so it can be used with a harness, and used anally if that is your thing. Since it is made of body safe silicone, it can be sanitized for sharing or using any way you like. The base is kind of flimsy, so with lubed up hands, it can be a little difficult to grip at times.

The Acute is completely smooth, and slightly sticky. It feels like European silicone to me with a really rubbery texture. It's flexible and has a lot of give, but it is not squishy. Hair and lint will stick to it like a mad thing, so you may need to wash it before using it.

It has a pronounced head that provides excellent G-spot stimulation. There are slightly raised rounded bulges on the underside of the shaft, but I didn’t even notice them until I examined the dildo really closely. The swirls of color are really pretty, but also can’t be felt.

People will obviously know what this is if you happen to have it laying out. It is a total of 6” long with an insertable length of 5 inches. The circumference is 4” around, and the head is just ¼” of an inch larger then the shaft. The size is just right for me, but others will find that it doesn’t fill them up enough. This is definitely not a dildo for size queens.

For me, this is the perfect size, but I understand that it won’t work for everyone. My G-spot is deeper, and this dildo hits it very nicely. The only issue I have is when my G-spot swells up, the dildo ends up going sideways, and my hands are lubed so it is pretty difficult controlling the base. A hole or handle would be really useful in this case.

The base of the dildo is just flat, and very thin. Unfortunately the Acute can’t stand on it’s base because it just tips over. I call that the face plant.

The Acute is non-porous and can be cleaned very easily in many ways. A simple rinse with warm water and soap is fine, but you can serilize it with a 10 per cent bleach solution, or by boiling it for a few minutes. Only stick to using water based lubricants with this toy because silicone lubes will degrade the nice surface of the dildo.

Store this dildo where it won’t get damaged, and out of direct sunlight. It came in clear plastic packaging that really isn’t good for storage. Keep it away from other silicone toys, and any sharp objects. A little pouch or bag would be good to store this in.
