Packaging (Because it was so well thought out): When the Liv first arrived, I was impressed with her sleek and sophisticated packaging. The quality and artistic packaging really add to the luxury feel of the Liv...as I am sure it does with all LELO toys. The box is high quality and looks discreet.

The Liv is a g-spot vibrator but provides great clitoral stimulation as well. She is fun to use solo or with a partner--I have used her both ways. My husband really enjoyed using her on me. I really love that there are so many different vibration settings for speed and intensity. I found this particularly beneficial with this being my first toy and still being unsure of which type of stimulation or vibration intensity I prefer. Even at the highest setting, the vibrations are still quiet--another perk when living with roommates, in a dorm, or in an apartment! The silicone is so silky and smooth and warms up quickly against my skin. It is also extremely easy to clean.

The settings are easy to manage, even while in use, and I learned how to operate her in literally less than a minute. I really enjoy being able to increase and decrease intensity while I am using her or having the ability to change the vibration pulses. Another major perk is that her battery is re-chargeable--and she holds her charge well.

The shape of the Liv is perfect for both clitoral and g-spot stimulation. I went back and forth between the Liv and the Gigi quite a bit before finally deciding on the Liv, and I am glad that I went with the Liv. I have found the more pointed shape of her head (compared to the Gigi's flat head) to be great for really focusing on the clit.

The size of the Liv is great for clitoral stimulation, but she may be a little too narrow for vaginal use in my opinion. I think that her smaller size makes her great for beginners and those wanting a discreet and travel friendly toy. The length is perfect for hitting the g-spot, but I still prefer to use her mainly for clitoral stimulation.

The silk pouch she comes with also makes her great for travel.

The controls on the Liv are extremely easy to use. There are only four buttons (an up and down for vibration intensity and side to side for vibration pulse speed/type) which makes her very user friendly. The buttons are all at the base of the shaft, so manipulating them during use is also quite simple. The only downside to the buttons being so easily accessible is that sometimes I will accidentally hit one of them and change a setting without intending to. I know that there is a lock feature, but I have yet to try this out as I like to change the settings while using her.

The vibrations are quiet, yet powerful and have a nice range--another perk for beginners like myself. I found most of the pulse speeds and types to be enjoyable and each one has a unique and exciting feel. I usually toggle through about three of them in one session to mix things up.

The Liv is not waterproof, but this has not bothered me. I just have to be careful to avoid the controls while cleaning her. But since she is silicone and can easily be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and some hot water, avoiding the controls is not difficult.

This toy is very easy to take care of. Silicone is such a safe material and is so smooth that just some anti-bacterial soap and hot water will do the trick. After cleaning, I store her in the silk pouch she came with. One downside to her being made out of silicone is that she is not very compatible with other toys or lubes besides water-based lube, so you need to be careful to make sure to only use her with compatible materials.
