Tenga 3D

The Tenga 3D is great toy for just about any guy. The material is stretchy enough to fit a range of sizes, and soft enough to have that almost real feeling. The different textures offer a variety of choices. It's definitely a great pick for anyone who likes the eggs, but wants something that lasts a little longer.

Use

Something I've wanted to try for a long time is the Tenga Egg. I love the idea that each one has it's own unique feeling texture. What I don't like however is that they are designed to be one use toys. I don't like the idea of spending my money on a toy that I'm just going to throw way. Once I saw the Tenga 3D, I had to have one. The Tenga 3D line of masturbators is similar to the Tenga Eggs, in that they each have their own unique texture. Unlike the eggs however, the 3D is not a one-use toy. They can be used about fifty times according to the guide, though that number may vary depending on how vigorously you use the toy.

Material / Texture

The Tenga 3D is made from anti-bacterial elastomer. This material is probably the best material out of any masturbator I have used so far. It's very soft, and can stretch quite a bit, so if you're above average in size, you can probably still use this toy. The material has very little odor that is only noticeable if it's right under your nose.

The texture of the Spiral is six ridge-lined columns that spiral around the toy, ending in the same position they began. With the texture side out, the toy is flat at the top/opening, but set in a kind of stairway pattern at the bottom, which gives some extra stimulation to the head. The spiraling texture alone would make this toy great, but the ridges make the stimulation even more intense.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I love the design of this toy. It's 4 1/2 inches long, with a depth of 4 1/2 inches. The circumference is 6 inches, and the width is 2 inches. This fits me pretty snug, and I'm about average size, which makes the texture feel that much better. Guys that are a little bigger than average shouldn't worry because the material is stretchy enough that it should fit. Once the textured side is turned in, the top and bottom of the toy form a mushroom shape. This makes it easier to keep a grip on the toy, especially with lube-covered hands. The mushroom shape on the end makes room for the head, and you can also press on this end to force air out and create some suction.

Care and Maintenance

To clean the The Tenga 3D, you can use soap and water, or a toy cleaner. Once it's rinsed off, you can wipe down the smooth side, then turn the textured side out, and set it mid-way down the stand to dry. The disk on the end of the stand has six holes to allow air through. Once it's dry pull it all the way down the stand, then place on the cover to store.

Packaging

The packaging for the Tenga 3D is pretty ingenious. It's also more tasteful than a lot of other masturbators, as it's not covered with half naked or fully naked women. It comes on a stand covered by a clear plastic cylinder. This serves two purposes. After cleaning, you can put it on the stand to dry as stated above. After it's dry, you can put the cover on to put it on display with the textured side out. The only problem with this is it's not very discreet. Also, if you do put it on display, exposure to sunlight may discolor the toy. The base of the stand has a compartment that holds the manual, and the small package of lube that comes with it.

  • Tenga 3D series have a few design fail, (but I still like it) here's the problem:
    • Life004
      The second times, I always carefully fold the masturbator inside out, I started seeing tiny stretch marks and tiny holes...

      The "Stand" with is a small stick (look at the 6th photos on the page). The design's purpose is to set the masturbator on the stick mid-way to dry it on the inside, it does not hold the masturbator well, it slowly slide down!

      They got extra usage for the small cup on the bottom of the case which according to the mannual (look at the first photo with the paper in it). They said it's a "Tray" where you can set the masturbator to stand on after use, it fail to stand on that tray I try many times, it tip other! I had to laugh from their "Tray" design.

      I only have Pile. From what I saw from other people's comment(other forum) and my own experience, Pile is the hardest(but not too bad) to clean, because of the varying triangles that lubes are stuck in it(of course if you put so much lubes). So, when you clean it, make sure you clean the little hole in each little triangle (or most of them). All in all, I do not feel annoyed about cleaning Pile, as Pile gives me great pleasure.

    • I just received the module and have used it once. So far I'm unimpressed, fleshlights, or a head honcho or super head honcho are better. I may need to use it more to get the feel though. Also, it's not obvious, but these things are rather small, only 4.5"

    • I'm pretty sure this is not made of 100% silicone (I think the same of the Tenga eggs by the way). I went online and I tried to get more information, and within the Q&A section, this is what I found:

      "You may use body soap but please refrain from using any soap with high acid or alkaline content as they may erode the elastomeric material."

      Oh and for the Tenga egg, they say they are made of "super stretchable elastomer".

      It's still a good material for sex toy, and I'm not worried about it, but after touching the texture of the egg, it would have been surprising to find such stretchability in pure silicone.

    • I didn't realize that it was said to be pure silicone. I couldn't imagine that working for a masturbator at all!
