Experience
The old adage of "practice makes perfect'" no matter how seemingly antique, truly springs to life when you’re talking about rope work. Some of the techniques in this book require a second pair of hands and eyes to get it right, especially when you’re just starting out. My partner and I pulled out our old fashion mannequin (Doesn't everyone have one just lying around? No?) to practice our rope work together. It was a fun and sexy way to learn and practice the techniques together outside of the bedroom, and it gave us an opportunity to really get the techniques down pat before we moved things upstairs.
