Two Knotty Boys Showing You the Ropes - book discontinued by Entrenue - review by Lady Neshamah

I had been DJing a steampunk event when I met one of The Two Knotty Boys. He had shown up to the event and that's how I found out about them. The day after the show, the other DJ gave me this book and mentioned that this was written by the guy that I had talked to the night before. Since then, this book has been on my night stand, one of the few books that stay there all the time. I do have a lot of kink books, but this is the only one that stays in the bedroom.

I know that a lot of people are more into the Japanese style of bondage and this book does cover a bit of it. But this is mostly what I would call art bondage. An many people that I know that do rope work don't like this book at all because it doesn't do as much Japanese style as they would like. But it was just what I needed at that time since I was just starting to do more than simple rope bondage.

It is written so that anyone for a newbie to a vet can use it and it has styles for every level of dom/domme. The photos are detailed in how to do every step.

One of the big reasons that I love this book as much as I do is that there is a wonderful overview of safety at the very start of the book. I have actually seen this chapter printed up and posted at some play parties because it is that good of an overview for basic safety for any kind of bondage.

This is one of the few things that I get for people who are just starting out in kink and bondage.

Even though I have leaned most of this my heart, I still will pick it up to refresh my memory on how to do it.
