All Squeaky Clean
The EdenFantasys all-purpose wipes aren't all that much different than typical baby wipes. They make clean up quick and easy, both for yourself and your toys. The cucumber melon scent is pleasant and not too strong. These wipes leave skin nice and clean with no residue. These wipes are pretty expensive, though, at almost 50 cents each.Published: October 31, 2011
Pros:
scent, small package, don't leave residue on skin
Cons:
expensive, not many wipes in pack
When I made a recent order, I decided to add the EdenFantasys wipes as my free gift. I have never tried a toy wipe before and was interested in seeing if they are any different than just a regular baby wipe.
The EdenFantasys all-purpose wipes come in a small 10 pack. The foil package measures approximately 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The front displays, “edenfantasys.com The Sex Shop You Can Trust.” It states that these do not contain alcohol, are gentle on your skin, are safe for toys, and are for external use only. There is a plastic flap to open them much like baby wipe soft packs. When sealed again, the flap does work very well at holding in moisture. It also does not peel up around the edges like some flaps on packages will. It lays flat. The back is used more for advertising the edenPoints program and urges customers to join the community. Ingredients are listed on the back as well.
Ingredients:
Water, Chlorohexidine, Glycerin, Aloe Extract, Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil
Chlorohexidine is a common antiseptic ingredient. It is useful in killing bacteria, fungi, and can be used to kill viruses. It is found in products like mouthwash and contact lens cleaner. Glycerin is a common ingredient in soaps and shampoos. This may be harmful to those with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, please make sure to use these on external parts of the body only. Aloe and Vitamin E are common ingredients in products like lotions and skin softeners. They help to refresh and soothe the skin. Tea tree oil is an antifungal ingredient. It is thought to help suppress sore throats. It’s usually found in vitamin stores or in the vitamin aisle of a drug store.
I typically use a baby wipe to clean myself or a toy up in a hurry. I can always go back and clean with soap and hot water or toy cleaner, if I feel I need to. These honestly don’t have all that much different of a feel to them from baby wipes. They’re somewhat stretchy, pretty moist, and you get enough wipe to clean up the mess. They measure 8 x 8 inches. They do not leave any lint behind after use and the moisture from the wipe dries up pretty quickly without leaving any residue. Each cotton wipe is somewhat thick, though I have bought some Huggies wipes that were a lot thicker. These are thicker than just plain off brand bathroom wipes. I don’t really notice much of a difference in the cleaning power of these versus other methods. These get me and my toys clean just fine, but I end up using just as many wipes on the job as I would with baby wipes.
The scent of these is pretty pleasant. It doesn’t smell like the typical aloe vera baby wipe stink most wipes have. Instead, the scent is closer to cucumber melon body lotion from Bath & Body Works. The scent doesn’t really stick to skin at all. As the moisture fades, so does the scent. I didn’t notice any flavor to the wipes at all.
I keep my wipes next to my bed in my Devine Toy box. I have had them for maybe 2 months now and they haven’t started to dry out or anything. I would make sure to store them somewhere that does not have anything to puncture the packaging, as the wipes will dry out and be useless. They should be stored in a cool, dark place to ensure they stay moist enough for use.
These wipes should work out well for travel, since they come in such a small package. They’re perfect to fit in a glove box, purse, carry-on bag, or wherever. Since they are basically working as an advertisement for EdenFantasys, they aren’t discreet at all. The front has “sex” written on it in pretty big letters.
While these are pretty good wipes, I don’t know if I would actually buy them. For about $1.50 I can get a 72 pack of baby wipes, or about 2.1 cents per wipe. For $4.99, I can get 10 EF wipes, or about 50 cents per wipe. These do pretty much the same job as a baby wipe, just with a different scent and in a smaller pack.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
I don't think I like these wipes for bodily use anymore at all. I'm not sure why, but the last couple of times I used these to clean myself up a bit, they irritated my skin pretty bad and made me feel itchy. I think I will just stick to using them for cleaning toys.

Eden Wipes - FYI: date on back of package is made on date, NOT expiration date
-
I just received my first package of these, and was confused at first, at why they sent me wipes that expired in november. However, I looked for threads about this subject, and there already several that state this is the MANUFACTURE DATE. I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to see this information. Also, someone has stated they expire 3 years from the manufacture date. Please feel to verify this information as well.
-
I believe that is the info going around about these. I know there were alot of confused people at first, but I think we got it all figured out. Thank you for confirming it though.

Toy/Body wipes good for... lady parts?
-
I was just wondering if these wipes would be good for using on your lady parts as part of your after-fun-times clean up routine?
I'm trying to get better at cleaning myself up afterwards instead of just being lazy. Normally, I'll just get up and wipe with a tissue or toilet paper, but I feel like I could be doing more to clean up. -
I use the wipes down there quite frequently. I use them after play, when I'm on my period, and whenever I feel the need to. They're really handy.

Is this ok to use with fleshlight?
-
If I use this on a fleshlight, will it damage it or safe to use?
-
I am curious to this answer as well!
-
I don't have a fleshlight but, I've used this product on many types of toys with no issues. The only thing is that these are a bit expensive for just a few wipes and they are small.

Toy wipes vs. wet wipes
-
Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?
-
Quote: Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?I was asking about that in another thread here. See if there's any helpful information there. You might try comparing ingredients on some toy wipes vs. random wet wipes.
I don't have a definitive answer, though. -
Definitely depends on the toy, but I think general wet wipes are probably fine for toys that you clean with just soap and water. I used to buy wet wipes at the drug store that were "sensitive skin formula" or "hands and face" or something like that to try and reduce the amount of unsafe chemicals in them, and I'd always look at the ingredients list. But I've used general wet wipes on my hard plastic toys with no problems.

UNscented option?
-
I've been looking for a wipe like the Eden toy and body wipes--but I can't stand scents. Please produce an unscented version!
-
Unscented baby wipes? I hardly notice the scent on the eden wipes, though.
-
I agree with Elnoa, I hardly notice the scent at all unless I'm purposely trying to smell for it.

Larger pack?
-
I wonder if they will make them in a larger pack soon. The ten pack does not seem like it is enough.
-
I have noticed them in the free gift section.Personally, I would rather have the free shirt!

Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?

Quote: Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?Right now they don't, but if you mention it in the next 'Eden Should Carry...' thread I bet they'd listen! It's a good idea!

Thank you for viewing Eden toy and body wipes review page!

Yeah, cost wise they may not be good as some baby wipes, but you should research the ingredients on some of those baby wipe. Some of them have some pretty nasty chemicals where as these are pretty much good for you.
These are perfect for free gifts when there isn't a toy that I want, but I agree on the cost. It's pretty pricey for what you get!
Thank you very much for the detailed review, and listing the ingredients!
Well done, especially for such a simplistic product.
thanks for the review
