Magic Wand Original - strongest vibrating wand by Vibratex - review by Touko

The Hitachi Magic Wand has a legendary status among vibrators, with rave reviews to be found all over the Web, not to mention - probably most famously - years of endorsement by sex education pioneer, Betty Dodson. Having said that, this product is not for everyone.

It is big, and loud , for some it may be too powerful. Not much can be done about its size. The loudness can be muffled a little by placing a blanket or even a pillow on top. But fortunately, the powerful vibrations can be toned down quite easily by placing a barrier between the Hitachi and its recipient - a folded up hand towel can work well, because it can be folded up further or unfolded as required to adjust its thickness.

This product is renowned for delivering orgasms to those who have found it difficult to orgasm. For that reason alone, it deserves a big thumbs up. But if you come more easily, don't think that the Hitachi Magic Wand isn't for you - it is also very useful if you need a vibrator to get yourself off quickly when you are pressed for time.

PS It's worth saying that the largeness, noisiness and potentially over-powering nature of this product might be an advantage. Wielding it in dominance-submission scenes comes to mind. It would be a great vibrator for teasing and denial, forcing an orgasm or deliberately over-stimulating a sensitive clit or glans (or all of the above...). OK, so the white colour of the Hitachi probably isn't the best look for that dimly-lit dungeon scene you might be planning. Black Hitachi Magic Wands have made appearances in a few kink porn videos - but, that said, while the handle could be easily painted, I'm not sure how one could paint the vibrating end in a hygienic way. Otherwise, maybe its sterile-white-looks could be saved for that medical scene you've also been planning.

I know it has been said that this product is only suitable for US-style power sockets. Having said that, I do have a friend from a country that uses different power sockets (OK, the friend is me) who has been using the Hitachi with an adapter for years with no problems. But this is that friend's risk to take and, presumably, the warning about not using the product for non-US style power sockets is there for good reason.

PS The other thing I can say about this product is that it seems super-reliable. My Hitachi has been going strong for years. It's certainly not a flimsy product either, which probably helps.
