Bwarm - massage candle by B Swish - review by Cori

The is one versatile candle! Although this candle may look a little stranger than your average candle, it beats most high-end home fragrances when it comes to adding some scent to your home. And of course, it doubles as a sensual massage oil. I have even rubbed some of the wax on my wrists and neck as a perfume since the patchouli rose scent smells so amazing!

Perfect for couples or anyone who wants to get (or give, if you're less selfish than I am) a soft, warm massage!

The ingredients in this massage candle are coconut oil/wax, soy oil/wax, shea butter, palm wax, beeswax, jojoba oil, aloe vera, vitamin e, and fragrance. I have sensitive skin and had no problems with this product, but it is highly fragrant so be careful!

I found when unlit, this candle is much harder than all of the other massage candles I've tried (which is a lot). It was one of the few that didn't ooze out of the package during shipping which made me pretty happy.

Once lit, the wax becomes a very soft, slippery oil. The shape of the holder makes it very easy to pour the oil exactly where you intend to. However, if a decent pool of oil hasn't formed before use, it can take a second for the oil to make its way from the candle to the skin. How's that for anticipation?! Once massaged into the skin, it's not too thick and it doesn't feel greasy during application.

The oil provides for a nice, long massage without drying out. I was able to give my boyfriend a 30-minute massage, and I could've gone longer if it wasn't my turn.

The oil feels amazing and leaves a very pretty scent on the skin. The oil won't feel greasy, but it will take a few minutes to absorb completely into your skin.

When I opened up my EF package, I could already smell the candle. And once the candle came out of its package, the scent quickly filled the room. It is highly scented and will easily perfume a medium sized room within a few minutes. Personally, I love my home smelling fresh but if you are sensitive to scents, you might want to check out a different massage candle.

Bwarm comes in 3 scents: Fig Leaf, Patchouli Rose, and Amber Amore. I got the Patchouli Rose candle. I wasn't sure how the scents would mingle together, but B Swish mastered it! The patchouli is very light and not as spicy and dark as most patchouli scented items are. The rose seems to be more prominent with a highly floral scent. While the oils make the candle highly scented, the scent itself is very light and clean. It smells very natural.

When lit, the candle still smells wonderful and leaves a delicate scent in the room it's placed in. When used on the skin, it smells like a light perfume and after it's been massaged into the skin, it leaves a light scent. The patchouli rose is not overpowering on the skin, but the smell definitely lingers. I thought it was a perfect happy medium.

As per the directions, I let a pool of wax/oil form, which takes about 15 minutes. Then you blow out the candle and use the flexible holder to pour the warm wax onto the desired area.

The warm oil smells fragrant even on the skin. The oil itself is soft and slick. A little bit goes a long way; I only used a quarter sized amount. It is non-greasy and will only need to be washed off if you don't dig the scent (which you will!).

The oil lasted long enough for a 30-minute massage. The candle should last long enough for at least a handful of massages. Or if you're like me, you can't help but use it is a candle as well...which means I'll be needing to get a new one sooner than later.

The little box that the Bwarm candle comes in is very classy and minimal. No one would have any idea that you got it from a sex shop if they saw it. The colors on the box coordinate with the scent you purchased. Mine was pink and black since I got the patchouli rose.

Inside the pretty box, the candle is placed in a tray. Inside is also directions and warnings. If you have allergy concerns, please read!

The candle itself is not that large - weighing only 7 ounces. The flexible holder is soft and very easy to bend. This makes it excellent for application! The color of the holder depends on the scent you get. The Amber Amore comes with a burnt orange holder, light pink for Patchouli Rose, and a bright pink for Fig Leaf.

The package is pretty small and could be taken when traveling. However this candle should be kept in cooler temperatures otherwise it will turn into oil thus creating a mess.

I was very pleased with the Bwarm candle! I have tried many massage candles and a lot have ended up in the trash. If you want a high-end candle for a special evening or a nice massage, I'd recommend this one! The burn time is supposed to be 10hrs despite the size. I've gotten a lot of use out of mine so I'd say this candle is worth the pretty pennies.
