Coochy without a coochy

As surprising as a review of shaving cream meant for a Coochy coming from a man is, what was even more surprising was how much I liked it. It is great on my sensitive skin and since I started using this product I no longer get those irritating bumps or nicks in areas I would rather avoid them. To top it all off my wife loves it too.

Use

Coochy is a shaving cream designed not only to protect you from irritation and razor burn while you shave, but also can be used to condition the hair you are not removing. It can be used to condition or aid in the removal of any hair on the head or body, but it's main purpose is the genital region. It is great for this since Coochy's formula is made for sensitive skin and claims to to rash free.

Coochy is both thick and creamy. It manages to be smooth without being greasy at all. It is much closer to a lotion or conditioner in texture than any other shaving cream.

Taste / Aroma

I did not like using my wife's original shaving cream because it was too flowery. Thankfully she switched to Coochy and has not gone back. Though it does have a flowery scent too, it is much lighter than any of the others she has had before. It smells more like a conditioner than a shaving cream.

Performance

I do not shave my legs or any part of my body other than the genitals so I do not require much each use. This makes the product last a long time for me. Obviously the larger an area you shave the more product you would need. If you use it as a conditioner as well it may not last as long as you would like.

After shaving it is easily rinsed off does not leave a film. In fact, it seems to help repel the filmy feeling that my water, which is excessively hard, can sometimes leave.

The best part about this product was simply how well it works. No irritation, no razor burn, just smooth clean skin.

Packaging

Their was no box or external packaging for this cream. The pink and black bottle itself is not discreet in any way. The bottle has "Coochy" written across the top and "all over body shave creme" written just under that. On the back down one side is a description of coochy and down the other side is the ingredients list and directions for use.

Personal comments

The feature that stands out the most for Coochy is the fact that it will work as a conditioner. I can not recall having seen any other shaving product that can double as a conditioner.

Experience

I first started shaving as a request(more like an ultimatum) from my wife. If I wanted to continue receiving oral sex I needed to shave. I was apprehensive at first, but liking blowjobs as much as I do, I went ahead with it. Now I find it feels much cleaner and more enjoyable to be clean shaven.

My first try was with soap and water. That was not a fun experience. Next I used my wife's shaving cream, but that was very flowery. After that I just used the shaving cream for my face and that sufficed until my wife purchased a bottle of original Coochy at an adult party. She told me how well it worked for her so I tried it the next day and I can say I will not be going back.

This stuff is still the best. I love the way Coochy makes my skin feel and how smooth of a shave I get with it, not to mention the lack of skin irritation. I will continue to purchase this shaving conditioner for my wife and myself. Although, I still will not use it in my hair.

I know at least a few guys who swear by this product. One of them uses it to shave his head and absolutely refuses to use anything else for the job, hah. Glad you found the product just as effective as they do

    • I've been going through a lot of reviews to see if I could find one that talked about the green tea scent. I want to try something other than the 'Oh So Original'. Has anybody tried the green tea scent or anything other than the original? Any suggestions on a different scent I should try? Thanks!
    • I just recently reviewed the green tea scent here.\ :) Basically, it smells great while you're using, but the smell doesn't really linger (which I love). It kind of smells like a sweet tea...but it's a bit hard to describe the scent itself.

    • I bought this for me and my guy to use. It worked wonders for his gentle areas. Unfortunately, I had a terrible reaction to Coochy... total bummer!
