Pheromone soy massage candle by Classic Erotica - review by sexyintexas

I am an incredible fan of massage candles, this one however left a bit to be desired. The Pheromone Soy Massage Candle from Classic Erotica is about the tenth massage candle that I have purchased and while it isn't bad, it also doesn't stand up well to others that are offered here.

I chose the Strawberries and Champagne scent. It has a lovely smell reminiscent of younger days drinking Strawberry Boones Farm. The scent travels well throughout the room and lingers for about an hour after extinguishing it. If you are trying to scent a small room then burning it is not necessary. I believe that this one will end up in one of my bathrooms with the top removed on a windowsill to give a light fruity smell to the room. The smell is the best thing about this candle by a long shot.

The object of the scented massage candles is to be able to burn them for a short time, spoon out the oil that it produces upon burning, then give your lover a massage using the oil from the candle. I have tried many and have had wonderful results. Not that this one was bad, but I hate having a waxy residue left on my skin and unfortunately that is what this one left me with.

After burning the candle about 15 minutes you have enough to spoon out a small amount of oil and drizzle on your partners body for a massage. A little oil goes a long way. He started by drizzling it on my back and started the massage. The warmth from this felt wonderful and the oil glides nicely over your body. It smells great. The problem that I had however was that after the massage, I was left with a waxy feeling that had to be washed off immediately after the massage. There are other candles that are offered on Eden where this hasn't been a problem. I would not suggest this for people with skin conditions who are prone to outbreaks because it gets into your pores and if you aren't vigilant about making sure that it is scrubbed clean, it may cause outbreaks.

That being said, I really do love the scent of this candle and for someone who is interested in trying out a massage candle to see how they work, this would be a fine purchase. It is one of the more inexpensive ones and as long as you shower afterwards, it will be fine.

It comes package in an attractive tin with a lid to seal it. It holds 4 ounces of candle/massage oil. It burns very slowly and I can see it lasting a long time, even using it as a massage candle where you are removing some with usage. As a regular candle I believe it will probably be about 40 hours at least of burn time.
