Magic Wand Original - strongest vibrating wand by Vibratex - review by gwenevieve

This vibrator was originally designed to soothe aching muscles and pains from daily stress. However, anyone who has ever shopped seriously for a vibrator has heared about the Hitachi magic wand vibrator. This toy is widely known for its amazing clitoral stimulation, and as a general massage unit. This toy shouldn't really be used if you live with other people as it's incredibly loud, and it's almost too large to hide, even. But the fact is, this vibrator is amazing. If you're looking for actual vibrations, this is the toy for you.

One downfall of the Hitachi is the fact that it's made of plastic, which is only an 8 on EdenFantasys' safety rating scale. The head of the wand doesn't move very much at all and the texture isn't really that crazy or anything, but it does kind of make cleaning it a bit of a bitch. This toy is definitely not for beginners because of the extreme vibrations and because of its massive size--it's a very intimidating toy! I knew beforehand that it was going to be huge but was still so surprised when I pulled it out of the box and looked at it! There was no odor, and it was wrapped in two bags and in a box, however my box was slightly damaged which sucks.

The design of this toy leaves much to be desired, to be honest. It's very simple and minimal, but extremely outdated. However, it does get the job done. It's plastic and extremely rumbly and therefore extremely loud, and it plugs into the wall--very inconvenient. What if the power goes out? What if you want to use it in a specific part of the house? What if you want to use it in the shower? Well, you can't because you'll probably die. But the point is--it works, and that's why nobody's bothered to change the design of this toy. Sure, it could be smaller, the head could be easier to take off or made of a better material, but it isn't and I'll deal with it because it's the best vibrator I've ever had--nothing has ever come so close to being perfect to me as this so far.

The vibrations are located mostly in the head of this toy, but can be felt throughout the entire thing, which is loud and can cause numbness in your hands--it's also very heavy so it can get uncomfortable to hold. The controls are easy enough to use--if the switch is in the middle, it's off. If it's to the left, it's on the highest function, and if it's to the right, it's on the lowest function. There is a GREAT difference between the two but both are a force to be reckoned with!

This toy isn't the hardest to clean but isn't the most fun to clean, either. You have to pop the rubber head off of the top of the vibrator and clean it separately from the whole machine, and because of its weird texture thing that it has going on, it's a bit hard to clean up. I store it in its original box, although I'll have to figure something else out as my box is already so incredibly damaged. Don't use silicone when playing with this toy.

I love this toy. To be honest, the first time I used it, I got off in about five or ten minutes, and it's relatively hard for me to do so at all. It's awesome, and my husband had tons of fun using it. He thought it felt great, too, and I can tell this is the beginning of a very beautiful friendship for the both of us!
