The Hitachi Magic Wand is one the absolute most infamous toys in the world. Ever. Before the rabbit, there was the Hitachi--A toy that by all rights is still sought after as one of the most powerful toys around--Even today, when there is a sex toy for literally everything, and everyone. Aha, It has unparalleled speeds that can go as high as 6000 rpm, even the lower setting of 5000 rpm offers far more power than most vibrators that are out there today targeted towards clitoral stimulation. The wand is strong enough to be used through clothing if need be, and for me personally I found this guy super easy to work with, you can't really go wrong with the simplicity that only two settings give you.

This thing was made for sore and tight muscles and re-imagined into the less traditional use it's known for today. Super glad someone back then thought to use it in a super sexy way instead of the original purpose ;)

Texture/Material
It's white spongy head is soft to the touch and not abrasive in the least, giving the more sensitive skinned girl total ease of mind, with it's super flexible neck to ensure total and complete ease of control. Plus, no batteries, how sweet is that? I seriously love this thing, like I may or may not want to marry it. Pretend I didn't say that. Okay? Thank you. Your discretion is appreciated. Moving on--The handle is made of this hard plastic and the soft white head is made of vinyl so it's not the easiest thing in the world to clean, or the safest, and it would be nice if there were a silicone sleeve to slip over the head for added protection.

Design/Function
This thing is giant. Gigantic, I'm pretty sure you could use it as a weapon, a very sexy massaging weapon. The wand is a foot long, kind of tossing discretion out of the window, but on the upside it's probably one of the most dependable toys you could purchase since it's not battery operated. The body of this wand is the classic blue and white that has become so iconic to this product, albeit that it is sort of ugly. The controls are high and low, again with the high speed of 6000 rpm and the low of 5000 rpm, and they are generally easy to control while in use. The cord on this measures to the length of your average frat boy--6 feet. It's not the longest cord in the world but I never really had an issue with it, you can buy power cord adapters anywhere for super cheap if you really wanted to go farther with the wand.

Performance
When I use the wand, it's when I really just need something effortless, something that is going to work every-time, without fail. I first received this and, I had all of my expectations high about the legendary power it has--But my expectations were blown right out of the water from first feel, it was like an earthquake passed through my body, some real next level shit. I think anyone can use this, It's perfect because you have all the control and you can find your own comfort level. That's the wonderful thing about this toy, you can customize what you want or need, you don't need to put much pressure, or you can if you want to. It's all up to you.

I don't find it to be overpowering in the least. This fella is quite loud and can be heard from under a blanket or maybe even behind closed doors. I don't use it when I know someone is around, I've tried it before while someone was around and I used a pillow to silence the sounds. Pillow silencer, it's proven technology. Seriously. For me and my experience, and I imagine most people's experiences, the best stimulation is clitoral, although if you have the extension sleeves the options are endless. I would say men could use this, but probably wouldn't due to it's intimidating nature.

Thoughts
I think even though the most appealing things to me about this product is that it has all of that great history, but with history comes old and outdated technology. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing, I'm only saying that, maybe Hitachi could have improved the motor in this thing by now, perhaps they didn't want to mess with a legend, I don't really know but in this day and age there are things that are usually expected

I remember seeing the Magic Wand for the first time when (I was a silly girl watching some random porn that I was far too young to watch, as most kids do when they are young)**.
