There’s nothing awful about these wipes. These aren’t some awful thing that are just going to ruin all your toys. They're perfectly suitable for what they’re advertised as. Most of us have received these as a free gift with our purchases. This review is primarily as a warning for those thinking of actually purchasing them.

I will write it out plainly: do not buy these. They are in no way worth the five dollars they are priced at. But, you may protest, it’s a package of TOY WIPES. Think of how convenient that would be? Think of how discreet it would be! No longer would one have to take their toy to the bathroom and risk being spotted by their roommate or five-year-old daughter. No longer would you have to wash rags in the laundry over and over again. And they’re even scented to smell good!

I’m not saying the idea of using a toy wipe is a bad idea. If anything, it’s pretty logical. Yes, using wipes is a really good idea for cleaning toys. It’s convenient and you don’t have to wash any rags once you’re done. You can just throw the wipe in the trash. Feel free to use wipes. I recommend it. But here’s the thing: there is absolutely nothing special about these wipes. These are just glorified diaper wipes.

The packaging only has 10 in a pack. That means each wipe costs 50 cents. 50 cents for a SINGLE diaper wipe. And the packaging easily tears, which means that either they’re going to dry out or you’re going to have to put them in your own Ziploc bag. So you’re now paying 50 cents for a diaper wipe that doesn’t even come with packaging.

Trust me, you’ll save yourself money and hassle if you just pop into ANY store and buy a package of diaper wipes.

They are still just diaper wipes with an overly expensive price tag. Seriously, go buy them at a real store and don't bother with these over priced wipes.
