Versatile, but not the best deal in town.
Choose these if you have a lot of toys that need to be cleaned or there aren't better free gifts available. As these wipes are more expensive than other options, they aren't the best deal to buy with actual money.Published: November 16, 2011
Pros:
Can clean most toys, safe for the skin, and smell great.
Cons:
expensive, not always the best free gift available.
Sex is messy, that’s why there are Eden toy and body wipes. Not only do these wipes clean and disinfect, but do so with a pleasant smell. If they weren’t 50 cents per wipe they would warrant five stars.
There are few limits to what can be washed with these wipes. Cleaning and removing assorted liquids from sex, or sex toys are the most obvious uses. As the wipes are made of Water, Chlorhexidine, Glycerin, Aloe Extract, Vitamin E and Tea Tree Oil; they disinfect, but are still safe for bare skin.
Toys with a lot of easily accessible surface area are the easiest to clean. These include, but are not limited to, vibrators, butt plugs, P-spot vibrators and some nipple toys. The interiors of toys, especially sleeves, cannot be cleaned with wipes, at least not easily, but this should not be considered a fault of the wipes.
Being antibacterial, nearly any surface may be cleaned and sterilized with these wipes. The only surface I would not recommend is computer, tablet, or smartphone screens. Without further knowledge regarding the type of screen or the wipes effects on said screen, it should be avoided.
If the package is not opened properly the wipes quickly dry out. An easy remedy is to place the bags into an airtight, plastic bag.
Cost is the only issue with these wipes, but it’s a big problem. First, consider that these are free gifts and as such, are in competition with every other free gift that Eden offers. These wipes are on the cheaper end of the free gifts, but are also more versatile. While they may not be as much fun or expensive as a vibrator, or sleeve, since they are disposable, it makes more sense to have five packs of wipes, than five of the same toy.
Buying these wipes, not just selecting them as a free gift, is not recommended. To demonstrate why, please consider the cost per wipe, compared to other disinfectant wipes.
Eden: 10 wipes at $5.00= $.50 per wipe.
Lysol disinfectant wipes: 240 wipes at $10.00=$.041 per wipe
Clorox disinfectant wipes (NO bleach): 225 wipes at $10.00=$.0444444 per wipe
Scotch brand wipes: 35 wipes at $2.48=$.0708 per wipe
Wet Ones wipes: 45 wipes at $1.98=.044 per wipe.
As these prices show, Eden’s wipes cost as much as 11 times the competition. It is unlikely that the other wipes have any glaring deficiencies, or Eden’s have any advantage justifying the disparity in cost. Granted they do have a pleasant smell, but it is not worth the price.
Overall, these are a good option as a free gift. A litany of toys can be cleaned with these, in addition to other surfaces and they are safe on the skin. Unfortunately, they only make sense as a free gift, as they are far more expensive than other wipes that offer comparable services.

This works great for plugs, probes, vibrators and other insertion toys. As my collection of such toys increased, so did my appreciation for the wipes. Plus they're usually the best free toy possible and one of the few that never stop being useful.

Eden Wipes - FYI: date on back of package is made on date, NOT expiration date
-
I just received my first package of these, and was confused at first, at why they sent me wipes that expired in november. However, I looked for threads about this subject, and there already several that state this is the MANUFACTURE DATE. I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to see this information. Also, someone has stated they expire 3 years from the manufacture date. Please feel to verify this information as well.
-
I believe that is the info going around about these. I know there were alot of confused people at first, but I think we got it all figured out. Thank you for confirming it though.

Toy/Body wipes good for... lady parts?
-
I was just wondering if these wipes would be good for using on your lady parts as part of your after-fun-times clean up routine?
I'm trying to get better at cleaning myself up afterwards instead of just being lazy. Normally, I'll just get up and wipe with a tissue or toilet paper, but I feel like I could be doing more to clean up. -
I use the wipes down there quite frequently. I use them after play, when I'm on my period, and whenever I feel the need to. They're really handy.

Is this ok to use with fleshlight?
-
If I use this on a fleshlight, will it damage it or safe to use?
-
I am curious to this answer as well!
-
I don't have a fleshlight but, I've used this product on many types of toys with no issues. The only thing is that these are a bit expensive for just a few wipes and they are small.

Toy wipes vs. wet wipes
-
Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?
-
Quote: Are toy wipes safer/preferable to something like a general wet wipe? Can I use wet wipes on my toys without damaging them?I was asking about that in another thread here. See if there's any helpful information there. You might try comparing ingredients on some toy wipes vs. random wet wipes.
I don't have a definitive answer, though. -
Definitely depends on the toy, but I think general wet wipes are probably fine for toys that you clean with just soap and water. I used to buy wet wipes at the drug store that were "sensitive skin formula" or "hands and face" or something like that to try and reduce the amount of unsafe chemicals in them, and I'd always look at the ingredients list. But I've used general wet wipes on my hard plastic toys with no problems.

UNscented option?
-
I've been looking for a wipe like the Eden toy and body wipes--but I can't stand scents. Please produce an unscented version!
-
Unscented baby wipes? I hardly notice the scent on the eden wipes, though.
-
I agree with Elnoa, I hardly notice the scent at all unless I'm purposely trying to smell for it.

Larger pack?
-
I wonder if they will make them in a larger pack soon. The ten pack does not seem like it is enough.
-
I have noticed them in the free gift section.Personally, I would rather have the free shirt!

Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?

Quote: Do these come in a large volume package so maybe the price will shrink per sheet?Right now they don't, but if you mention it in the next 'Eden Should Carry...' thread I bet they'd listen! It's a good idea!

Thank you for viewing Eden toy and body wipes review page!

great review, thanks for sharing.
Awesome review! Thanks!
I don't think your comparison to disinfectant wipes is on par, actually. You'd do better to compare these to Afterglow, System Jo wipes etc. In which case, Eden usually wins out in terms of price. I'd NEVER use Lysol wipes on my body or sex toys because of their harsh chemicals and I hope you aren't either. Plus, I would never consider Eden's wipes to be truly disinfectant.
Thanks for the review!
