Natural Ingredients, Natural Feeling

Sliquid Organics Natural is "natural" in many ways. It has natural ingredients, it feels like natural lubricant, and you'll naturally fall in love with it once you start using it! It lacks parabens, glycerin, and other nasties so it's safe for virtually everyone and everything, including silicone toys and latex condoms. It may not be for anal or penile masturbation but it's great for vaginal and toy sex. If you're looking for a great water-based lubricant, look no further. This lube is for you!

Use

Lubricants are used during sexual activities (solo or with partners) to decrease friction, allowing for a more pleasant experience. They can be used during sex along with or in place of natural lubricant. They can also be used on toys to allow for easier insertion. Lubricants are an important part of any person's sexual life.

Sliquid Organics Natural is a water-based lubricant (with no silicone in it at all) so it's safe for use with ALL toy material types. It is best used for vaginal sex and toy sex when inserted vaginally. It could possibly be used for anal sex and masturbation but I would not really recommend it because it doesn't have as thick of a consistency as anal and jack-off lubricants usually have. However, it is usable as oral lubricant because the taste isn't the worst and it's very slight but you'd probably want something better tasting for dedicated oral use. Finally, I don't really think this is the best lubricant to use for massages. I would recommend something thicker that lasts longer, like a silicone lubricant. Some of the ingredients in this lubricant are organic and it doesn't include any parabens or glycerin so it should be safe for almost everyone, unless you have an allergy to one of the ingredients (which will be listed in the "Special Features" segment).

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Sliquid Organics Natural isn't just MADE of natural ingredients; It FEELS natural. It is slick and smooth and in my opinion, it is almost indistinguishable from my own natural lubricant. The only difference (besides the taste and smell, obviously) is that it is like a new, improved version of my own lubricant because it works much better. It mixes well with my own and unlike some of the other lubricants I've tried, I don't hate having to use it. It's completely clear and colorless so it looks no different from water or natural lubricant. The texture, overall, stays consistent no matter how you use it. I did notice one thing, however. When I rubbed it between my fingers vigorously for a good while and then separated them, it was slightly stickier than usual and produced a very light foam. I've taken a picture of this but it's kind of hard to see what I mean. Rest assured, however, that when used normally, it is slick and smooth with little to no foaming and this only really happens if you do what I did or something similar.

Foaming
Foaming

Another great thing about Sliquid Organics Natural is that it is easy to pour but it also stays in place very well. The consistency of the lubricant is thin but slightly thicker than natural lubricant and most water-based lubricants. I did a few tests to see how well it stayed in place and I was quite impressed. For each of these tests, I used a small pea-sized drop so remember that your mileage will vary when you use a larger amount. In these particular tests, a larger amount will probably result in faster times. I did a few of these tests with a slightly larger drop and the results varied a little but were overall the same.

The first test I did was to put a drop of lubricant on my finger and hold it upside down to see how long it would take for it to drip off. My intention was to wait and time it to see exactly how long it would take. After five (5) minutes, however, I gave up. It simply was not moving, despite the fact that it was literally hanging off of my finger like a stalactite. When I used an even bigger drop and put it on the palm of my hand, instead, the results were the same. Five (5) minutes passed and the drop still clung to my skin. This says to me that the staying power of Sliquid Organics Natural is very good. I shook the small drop quite a few times afterwards before it finally dripped off. The larger drop took less shakes to fall off.

Test 1 (Pea-Sized): 5 minutes - No dripping
Test 2 (Larger-Sized): 5 minutes - No dripping

The second test I did was to put a drop of lubricant on my wrist and hold it vertically at a 90° angle to see how long it took to reach the inside of my elbow. Again, my intention was to wait and time it to see exactly how long it would take. After five (5) minutes again, I gave up. After two (2) minutes, the pea-sized drop had slid less than two (2) inches and after three (3) more minutes, it had barely moved at all. I did the test again with a larger-sized drop. At first, it slid quite a bit quicker but then again, it slowed down. After five (5) minutes, it had only dripped to about two and a half (2 1/2) inches.

My final test was to put a drop of lubricant on the back of my hand facing upwards, holding it horizontally at a 180° angle, to see how long it would spread on its own accord. After five (5) minutes, it had only spread about one-eighth (1/8) of an inch. I did not do a second trial for this test.

Taste / Aroma

Sliquid Organics Natural, thankfully, has almost no taste or smell. You would have to smell it up close or taste a lot of it to detect much of anything. The smell is slight and reminds me of the smell of plants. That is basically the only description I could think of to describe the smell. When I hold the bottle up to my nose, it's a little like holding my nose up against the stem of a flower or a weed but with a slight floral overtone. It's not unpleasant at all and I couldn't even smell it during use. I could only detect the scent when I literally had the entire bottle up against my nose to sniff.

The taste is also very slight. It's not entirely unpleasant, though I wouldn't want to consume large amounts of it. It kind of tastes like old water. By this I mean, it tastes like water that has been left to sit in a cup or a water bottle without refrigeration for a long time. It's not the worst thing but it's not the best, either. Luckily, it's hardly noticeable and if you switched to oral while using this lubricant, it probably shouldn't bother you too much unless you're incredibly sensitive to tastes.

Performance

Sliquid Organics Natural is a dream-come-true compared to the drug-store lubricant I used before. It lasts long and, as stated before, feels natural. It absorbs into the skin fairly nicely. Once it's evaporated, you can hardly tell that there was ever lubricant there in the first place. The skin isn't quite as smooth but this is pretty much the only difference so if you're in a hurry and you can't wash the lubricant off right away, it shouldn't be too much of a bother to you. It washes right off with warm water or a damp cloth (no soap is likely needed) so this is great if you want to feel clean afterwards but not so great if you'd like to use lubricant in the shower. However, this is expected of water-based lubricants and you should use a silicone-based lubricant for shower sex in the first place. Also, spit or water seems to do more to wash it off than reactivate it so if it starts to dry, you're better off just reapplying it.

I did a few tests to see how long the lubricant lasted and I was not disappointed. For each of these tests, I used a small pea-sized drop so remember that your mileage will vary when you use a larger amount. In these particular tests, a larger amount will probably result in longer times. I did one of these tests with a slightly larger drop and the results showed that even just a little bit more lubricant makes it last a lot longer. This says to me that using the regular amount that you would normally use should result in a lack of a need to reapply.

The first test I did was to put a pea-sized drop of lubricant on the back of my hand and rub it vigorously in a large circle to see how long it took before the lubricant evaporated and/or absorbed into my skin. This test was meant to show how the lubricant would hold up in open-air situations, such as with jacking-off. It took about one (1) minute and forty-five (45) seconds before my hand was dry. When I used just a tiny bit of a bigger drop during the same test, it lasted for three (3) minutes before my hand was dry once again.

Open-Air Test
Test 1 (Pea-Sized): 1 minute and 45 seconds
Test 2 (Larger-Sized): 3 minutes

The second test I did was to put a pea-sized drop of lubricant on my palm and enclose my hand, rubbing one finger on it vigorously back and forth to see how long it took before the lubricant evaporated and/or absorbed into my skin. This test was meant to show how the lubricant would hold up in closed-air situations, such as with vaginal sex. It took about five (5) minutes before my palm was dry. I did not do a second trial for this test.

Closed-Air Test
Test 1 (Pea-Sized): 5 minutes

Vaginal Sex
Sliquid Organics Natural excels at vaginal sex. Normally, it can take quite a while before I can produce enough of my own natural lubricant, even when aroused, to allow me to have sex with my boyfriend. On top of that, I usually experience pain from the friction of sex afterwards. With this lubricant, however, we needn't wait at all to have sexual intercourse. With just one application, we can immediately begin having sex and I experience no pain afterwards. We have never yet had to reapply the lubricant during all of the times we've used it for sexual intercourse, even when we've thrusted very fast. If, however, you switch positions frequently or go for long amounts of time, you may need to reapply.

Anal Sex
Sliquid Organics Natural is not the best lubricant for anal sex and I would not recommend it. While it may be thicker than most water-based lubricants, it is definitely not as thick as lubricants designed for anal sex. If you think that you would like this particular lubricant but you're looking for something thicker, try Sliquid Organics Gel. I've never tried it myself but it appears to have the same ingredients while having a thicker consistency. It could be worth looking into.

Oral Sex
As stated before, Sliquid Organics Natural has a very slight taste. It also doesn't appear to have any ingredients which would be harmful to ingest (as lubricants should be). As such, if you wanted to use this lubricant for oral sex, there should be no issue. The taste isn't the worst but it certainly isn't the best so if you're looking for a lubricant that you will use ONLY for oral (on a penis and not a vagina) based on the taste and not the lubricant's capabilities, I would go for something that tastes better. Sliquid Swirl is another lubricant I've never used before but it's a flavored lubricant and it appears to be safe for vaginas. I doubt that it works functionally as well as Sliquid Organics Natural but it's sure to taste much better, not to mention you have six flavors to choose from.

Toy Sex
Sliquid Organics Natural was a welcome addition to my toy box. Most of my toys are not girthy and have uncomplicated shapes so they're easy to slip in with just my own natural lubricant. However, some have more drag to them and have sharp curves (like the Xtreme Pack G-spot Bullet) that make insertion difficult or impossible without some help. This lubricant eliminates that discomfort and difficulty. I have tried this lubricant with various materials and so far, one application has been all I ever needed. You may require more than one application, however, if you use extremely porous toys that absorb lubricants more than other materials. This is especially true for masturbators since masturbators tend to be made of porous materials and the lubricant used with them is exposed to air more than with insertable toys.

Masturbation
Sliquid Organics Natural is not the best lubricant for penile masturbation but it's certainly not the worst and it should work fairly well for vaginal masturbation. It dries out a bit faster when exposed to air than when it's used during vaginal sex and the like so more than one application will likely be necessary. If you think that you would like this particular lubricant but you're looking for something thicker that will likely last longer during masturbation use, try Sliquid Organics Gel as I suggested before for anal use.

Packaging

When I received my Sliquid Organics Natural, there was no external packaging. My bottle, in particular, was tied off in a plastic bag but that's because it was paired with another lubricant I purchased (Maximus) so yours may not come in anything at all. Initially, there is a seal on the opening of the bottle (when you twist off the cap) like most liquid products but beyond that, you won't have any obstacles in your way when it comes preparing to preparing the bottle for use. As for the bottle itself, I got the 8.5 fl oz. (255 ml) version but there is a smaller size of 4.2 fl oz. (124.21 ml) and a sample size of .17 fl oz. (5.03 ml).

The bottle is a dark opaque brown color that reminds me a bit of antique glass jars but it is made of plastic. The cap is made of black plastic and is similar to classic flip top caps on shampoo bottles. The entire bottle is wrapped with a rectangular white and light blue sticker that displays all the pertinent information.

The front of the bottle displays "sliquid organics" with "Botanically Infused" in fancy script below it. It says below these that it's "glycerine & paraben free" and a "natural intimate lubricant". On the very bottom, it denotes the volume of the bottle. On the top of the front in blue is a lotus with Sliquid's version of the female symbol (which is their logo) in the center of it. This lotus symbol is also translucently displayed on the front of the bottle behind all of the text and in a repeated pattern on the back of the bottle, as well as in various small places as decoration.

On the left side of the back of the bottle, there are a few paragraphs describing Sliquid Organics Natural specifically, as well the reasoning behind the lotus symbol. It says about the lubricant: "Our clean and simple water-based blend. Offering women a healthier choice, this glycerine & paraben free lubricant has been blended with certified organic botanical extracts that heal and support the body." The reasoning behind the lotus symbol is this: "The lotus is the symbol of female sexuality, passion & love. It is natural, growing and unfolding ... Just like you. Our icon rests in the center because at the heart of our company we believe knowledge of sexual health & well-being will help women live more passionate lives." Below this, it says "Love Your Body" in the same fancy script as on the front. The rest of the text contains various warnings, company information, and a sentence asking you to recycle the packaging.

The right side of the back of the bottle starts by saying "Created by sensitive women, for sensible women". It lists the ingredients on the very bottom (referring to them as "Vegan Ingredients" and marking some of them as "Certified Organic"). In the middle are a list of bullets, displaying various information. They are as follows:

"* Natural ingredients & organic botanicals
* Water-based and water soluble
* Glycerine, paraben & petroleum free
* Hypoallergenic and non-staining
* Latex, rubber and plastic friendly
* 100% Vegan friendly / NO animal testing
* Proudly formulated & produced in USA"

The bottle measures at a height of about 5 3/8". It has a diameter of 2 1/4" and a circumference of 7 1/2". As such, the bottle isn't very large and it should be fairly easy to hide. It's also a pretty discreet-looking bottle and if someone were to see it, they probably wouldn't think much more of it unless they got a closer look and actually read some of the text. In fact, my boyfriend and I accidentally left it out once and his grandmother said nothing about it. If you managed to get lubricant on the bottle and needed to or just wanted to clean it, it should clean fairly easily. The sticker is sturdy and should stay on nicely, though it wouldn't really matter if it came off since it's not all that important. When turned on its side, it doesn't leak and so overall, it's a pretty nice bottle.

Personal comments

I have very few problems with Sliquid Organics Natural. In fact, besides this lubricant not really being suitable for the backdoor or air-exposed uses, my only real issues have to do with the bottle in which it came. The brown plastic is very dark, nearly opaque, so it's incredibly difficult and almost impossible to see how much lubricant is left inside of the bottle, especially with a large sticker surrounding most of it. The only way you can really see how much lubricant you have left is by judging its weight, looking inside the bottle, or squinting really hard in certain lights. Another problem I have with the bottle is more of a future possibility than a present issue. The bottle is currently pretty hard and inflexible. This may or may not be because it is still nearly filled to the brim with lubricant. I'm just worried that it'll be hard to get the lubricant out once I've gotten low on my stock. Considering how easy this is to pour, however, hopefully this will not even be an issue.

Experience

What else can I say? I love Sliquid Organics Natural! I'm not the only one, either, as my boyfriend loves it, too. He hasn't really used it much for himself but he loves how easy it is to penetrate me when we're using this lubricant. I'm usually pretty tight vaginally and it really helps. We're also fond of fast, vigorous, and rough sex so this lubricant really helps with the pain and keeping everything nice and slick. I got the largest bottle so I doubt we'll run out of this anytime soon but when the time comes and it finally does run out, I'll likely get this lubricant again. It's not the best for certain uses but when it comes to what we do most, Sliquid Organics Natural is perfect. I recommend it for anyone, especially if you're sensitive to most lubricants and/or you want a lubricant that has natural ingredients and is vegan-friendly. It's a great lubricant, simple as that.
