Always Go For A Test Drive

I purchased this sample so that I could start trying out organic products. This was my first organic lubricant and I had very high hopes for it considering it stated that it was organic and safe for the body. This lubricant did seem a bit pricey for the quantity recieved, so I ordered the sample size to test it out instead of buying a large bottele and regretting it later. Trying the sample was by far the best decision because I was just not impressed.

The ingredients listed ON THE PACKAGE are as follows: (these differ from what's on EF.)

Purified water, Plant cellulose(from cotton),Aloe barbadensis, Natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis, (Guar conditioners), Hibiscus, Extracts of Flax, Green tea, and Sunflower, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol (rose ether).
While it mentions that it is organic, I felt that some of the ingredients listed seemed a little fishy to be classified as organic. It is safe for latex condoms, which is a plus for those who use them. It is also L-Arginine, petro-chemical, paraben, and glycerin free. This makes it safe for those prone to UTIs.

The lube's texture right out of the package was surprisingly nice. It was a bit thick for a water-based lube. This makes it stay in place and prevents a huge mess, which is great! It is smooth and slick but unfortunately didn't stay that way for long. Aside from the weird foaming up it did when testing it on my hand, it was fairly smooth on the skin.

Because the Sliquid Organics lubricant is organic, I didn't expect any smell or taste. Just like I expected, there was no smell. I, however, did not (nor do I plan to) taste the lube. If I perform oral it will not be done with lube, I prefer to not mask my man's taste/aroma. If you find yourself wanting to perform oral after applying this, I have read other review by some who have tasted and they say it has a very slight taste and nothing major. (I just can't give you the info based on my experience.)

We primarily needed lubricant for anal and that's what we used it for. However, it had a weird sticky-ish feeling (from my hubby's point of view). When rubbed into the skin (Hubby rubbed some onto my back) it did feel really smooth after, but still foamed up a little (I have no idea why!!).

Using it with toys gives better results. We used it with my Rainbow Bliss glass dildo (for anal) and it seemed to work okay for me and because it is organic and the toy was glass it was fine. It is a plus that there is no smell left on the toy because of the lubricant. We wound up using almost the whole package (about two thirds) because it needed to be reapplied. It definitely helped me get the toy inside me with ease which was such a great accomplishment. (LOL)

Clean up is easy with soap and water or an Eden wipe. The lubricant didn't cause any irritation to myself or my husband, just left him feeling a little sticky. It also didn't do any damage to the toy it was used with.

The .17 fluid ounce sample is made out of a cardboard covered metal lining pouch type-thing. The top rips off so the pouch cannot be resealed at all. It is discreet and is travel-friendly (if unopened.)
