Sliquid Organics Natural for use as a leave-in conditioner and anti-frizz?

Sliquid Organics Natural (the blue logo bottle) is also GREAT for use on Curly Hair as a leave-in conditioner and anti-frizz

someone told me that some lubricants that have natural ingredients and have no silicone/parabens/petr oleum are also good to use as hair product.

And they weren't lying!
because this particular bottle link
which would normally be a negative
because it doesn't last as long and is
super absorbent works great on hair.

At first, I tried using this product for it's intended use, personal lubricant, but I found it to be
ineffective for prolonged use because my skin would absorb the sliquid quickly. So I wound up
just shelving it and using another sliquid product (silk) instead.

It ended up sitting there unused for months, until
one day i ran out of anti-frizz hair product. I was rummaging around for alternative products when I noticed that the ingredients on Sliquid Organics Natural had mostly the same components as my store brand anti-frizz serum but without the parabens and the silicone and the petrolatum and the perfume.

I used it and I got great results on my curly hair! (it also worked great when i used it on my straightened hair btw).
The product absorbed quickly leaving no sticky and flaky residue but left my hair feeling soft and silky and shiny for the rest of the day!

It's awesome!

It's become my go-to anti-frizz serum. Infact, i'm thinking of buying more bottles and discreetly covering up the "personal lubricant" label.

Maybe Sliquid should branch out into the hair business.
I want to recommend this to my friends and family but I'm hesitating..... well, because for obvious reasons... it would be awkward trying to explain away the personal lubricant aspect of Sliquid.

Very cool! I always like finding other uses for products. I use aquaphor on my split ends

Good to know! We use Sliquid Organics Gel for just about everything. We found it dries out quickly if it's exposed to open air, but internally it lasts a LONG time.

I usually use hair conditioner as a shave lotion, but the other day, I needed a shave but didn't have time for a shower. I remembered someone mentioning in a review that silicone lubricant worked great as a shave cream, so I thought the Sliquid gel might work, too. It DOES work great! I kept having to re-hydrate it, but I got a GREAT shave with it, better than shaving in the shower with conditioner.

Since we love it for so many things — and since it's not cheap — I don't think I'll use it this way much. But it's good to know how well it will work for shaving (and hair conditioning) if I need to.

it has mostly the same ingredients as a fancy anti-frizz serum that i buy from the store.

the only difference is that it doesn't have petroleum and silicone and perfume.

and i don't like using products with petroleum and silicone in them because ive read numerous reports that they're not good for you.

so it's a plus/plus for me.
