Sweet Dreams? Not so much so.

The packaging was what seems to be the norm for Cal Exotics. A clam-shell was encasing the toy itself, and then a plastic outer shell that is mostly translucent with a large picture of the toy in the front. It’s very obviously the packaging for a sex toy, so not something you can leave out. The outer packaging has several blurbs on it, pimping the virtues of the Dream Massager. ‘Soft Rubber Cote (TM)’ and ‘Waterproof’ are examples.
The Dream G came out of the box with a funky rubbery smell that didn’t want to go away. I washed it several times, and let it sit out on my windowsill for a few days before the smell finally disappeared. The Dream G is made of Rubber Cote (TM), which is a material I’d not encountered before, so I did some research. Rubber Cote is a (surprise!) rubber based coating that is used to make things water/various substance proof and soft(er). In theory, if this is the industrial grade of Rubber Cote, then this toy is resistant to oil, Diesel, Acetone, Lactic acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Brake fluid, Caustic soda, and Sulphuric Acid. I do not have access to a home chemistry set, but I really wish I did after reading that. There would be maniacal laughter and possibly a half-naked lab assistant to hold the tails of my coat as I dipped the Dream G into one bubbling vat after another.

The Dream G is 6 1/2 inches long, with about 5 inches of that being insertable. The diameter at the widest point in the middle bulge is 1 3/4 inches, but I didn’t find it to feel that wide. I think this was because of the wavy shape of the toy, because it starts tapering right after the middle. It felt a bit odd to me, as I think my body was expecting to have that same width of toy to clench down on, and the narrower width was just confusing to my pussy. The Dream G is waterproof, and survived me taking it into the shower with me, and a later session of waterboarding it in the name of science. (Yes, I totally held it under water for several minutes, and it still worked perfectly. I was impressed!)

Experience
The texture is a very soft feeling plastic, and it doesn’t seem to pick up dust/lint/cat fur like most of the other toys I own. The downside to the material is that lube doesn’t seem to ‘stick’ to it at all, and I found myself needing to reapply it often, which is unusual for me, as I get wet easily. The need for extra lube also made it harder to adjust the intensity during use due to slippery fingers.
How does it work as a G-spot toy? Well, not that great, actually. While the vibrations are nice and rumbly for a 2 AA toy, with the focus in the tip, they were dulled once I inserted it. My G-spot is apparently a bit farther back than most, and this isn’t a very long toy. For the Dream G to hit my G-spot, I had to hold the toy at a really awkward angle that left my wrist feeling sore. Add thrusting to the mix, and I was distracted enough by how much my wrist was bothering me that it was really difficult to come, let alone ejaculate. Blast. Fortunately, it worked a bit better as a clitoral vibe, and I was able to orgasm from it.
I give this vibe 3 paws up out of 5. Sorry, Dream G! I wanted to love you, but you weren’t the vibrator that me or my G Spot were dreaming of.

This toy still smells faintly of rubbery ick. I am not impressed, and rather than trying to give it to a friend/play partner, I ended up throwing this out. I don't feel comfortable using a toy that retains scents after so long...it makes me wonder what else could be clinging to it.

Battery Problem HELP!!!!

Raven MidnaIt was tricky to place the batteries since it was difficult to push it down. Now its STUCK!!!!! Does anybody know how to remove them? I tried pushing them down a little further so the springs could push back, but didn't work. It sucks b/c my vibrator's new ;( -
Maybe a pair of pliers if they're sticking up at all?
