The Incredible Options of the Liv!

There are many different vibrators on the market. In my mind, there is nothing that can compete with something that offers variety on one toy. The Liv is incredible!

useful review
When you look at the price of the Liv G-Spot vibrator you might wonder, "Who would pay that much money for a vibrator?" There are some high quality and wonderful sex toys on the market these days; and Liv is one of them. Think about the fun you can have as you watch a loved one's eyes pop open. It can be a special indulgence for oneself or an extravagant gift. Is it worth it? Yes, I think so. I loved it.

The Liv comes in a beautiful case and has a pretty black drawstring bag. It does not use batteries, but is charged via electrical cord. Now, I have to admit one of my first thoughts was just where does a mother of two young children manage to charge a sex toy, and what would I say if they found it? It's not exactly something that you place next to your toothbrush. Nevertheless, it was safely tucked into my computer bag for the first night. The instructions say the Liv will be charged for at least two hours of use, but to my surprise it hasn't discharged by the time I've written this review. I tested it several times too!

The Liv is gently curved and made of a wonderful silicone material. It is incredibly soft and almost has a skin-like texture to it. I love the very feel of it. Liv has a bit of an odor so I was less fond of sucking on it, but that seems to be diminishing. I'm not good at comparing smells to anything- just a bit off to me. The manufacturer does not recommend using a silicone based lubricant as it can make the vibrator permanently tacky. There are some lubes on the market these days that claim to be safe with silicone materials. Always do a patch test. I didn't bother with lube with the Liv- remember how soft it feels!

So how well does it work? It's excellent, and one of my favorites now! Liv's control panel is a center dial divided into quadrants. One quadrant controls the five different vibration patterns. One quadrant controls increasing vibrations. One quadrant controls decreasing vibration. This is incredibly simple to use and easy to remember. One night I had far more alcohol than was good for me, and I still had no trouble with any of the controls!

The biggest advantage that I've found about Liv is that it has so many stimulation options. There are five different vibration patterns that can be set from "barely there" to "intense". You can move through the settings or pick a favorite. Personally, I like that they can be changed easily. I found that starting softly and increasing the intensity led to the most pleasant and powerful orgasms. It's also whisper quiet even on the highest setting- so you are the one that will be making all the noise!

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, if I was spending money on toys! Fortunately- I didn't have to, thanks to EdenFantasys.com.
Experience
This toy is too small for me to enjoy with internal thrusting. It offers some pleasure, but it's just absolutely outstanding with vibration. That's where it's just an all time superstar, and worth every penny.
Follow-up commentary
After being with Eden for as long as I have, I've learned one thing: I'm really not much of a "vibration" type of girl. I still love the Liv though. I think it's the only vibrating toy that I've tried and consistently still love. It can match my mood and intensity. It's just awesome and I am incredibly glad to have it. It's held up well, when other toys have gone away. That may not be saying much because I don't often use it. There are times that I go to pick it up and I find that it's been in my drawer too long unattended and has discharged. There are other times when we are planning a date or a trip and it's the first toy that I check on. I would still give it a five star ranking, and I would absolutely recommend it!

Essin' Em

I loved the GiGi by the same company....but my partner and I had lots of issues with accidentally hitting the buttons, even without any alcohol :)  But a great toy - 5 stars from me!

I loved the GiGi too... great quality.  Because I liked the Gigi so much, I gave this toy to my friend and her girlfriend (I thought they would like the dark blue color it came in).  They absolutely adore this toy!

I have the Elise, Liv's big sister, and I absolutely love it.  I've had the same issue the first time I've used it that Essin' Em has had with accidentally hitting the buttons, but that's probably the only negative experience I've had with this toy. LELO is a FANTASTIC company, not only are their toys beautiful, but they're contoured perfectly to a woman's body... and the 1 year warranty doesn't hurt either! :)

This sounds like a fun toy!  It's rechargable, comes with it's own case/bag and it's quiet!  I'm sold!

Oggins- not to mention all the possibilities...  Different patterns, different intensities!  I still love it!  It was great for the hotel recently.

This *was* one of my oldest reviews. It's a fantastic toy. I just updated the review with more information and keeping the same tone of the review. There is a follow up review that's also coming. I think this is an expensive toy, but it's worth it.

DBD, great review. And it's very close to what I would have written for the GiGi!! The GiGi's shape is much more effective, in my humble opinion. Ladies, use either the Liv or GiGi as a clitoral stimulator and a life-like dildo and you've got one serious orgasm combo.

  • Liv settings
    • I have the Liv and find all the interval settings to just be annoying! I use it strictly on the regular constant vibration setting. What's your favorite Liv setting?

  • Liv strength like the siri?
    • I have the siri and I love it, and I was wondering if this has the same strength/depth as the siri?

  • Toy Colors
    • Looking at the new Lime Green color of LELO's Liv, I'm very close to buying it, just because it's such a kick ass color. Anybody else have a soft spot for nicely colored toys?

Gigi will be my next purchase, and I think the dusty rose actually looks really pretty, but now there's bright blue...lol, I'm torn.
    • Blue, green, and orange are my favorites. I prefer the "non-natural" coloring :-). Even if it's shaped like a real penis, it should be day-glo purple or somesuch :-)
    • I'm that way too. I like non-natural colors for toys. That is a kick ass color, that green. The pink Gigi does look pretty, but I also like how bright the turquoise is too! My next big buy will probably be a Gigi too, it just sounds so amazing. :)

  • The Liv or the Gigi. Both by Lelo
    • I've been hearing a lot lately about the Gigi. I haven't paid much attention because I absolutely love my Liv. I flipped back and saw that they are the same price, same company and only slightly different design. Does anyone actually have both? The Liv has been my all time favorite vibrator for a long time.
    • I actually have the Liv (though I haven't written up a review yet), the Iris, and the Elise. Honestly, and I hate to say it, but the Liv is probably my least favorite of the bunch. It's still an excellent vibe, but it's missing the delicious texturing of the Iris and the g-spot magic of the Gigi. If you like Lelo's products, I'd say the Gigi is definitely worth checking out!

Er, Elise=Gigi. I really shouldn't attempt to type before my morning coffee. *blush*
