Oh, Gigi, you're almost perfect.

Lelo's Gigi is a sleek, sexy, and small g-spot vibrator. She performs her primary function with ease, but lacks in other areas. If you're looking for a small, discreet g-spot vibrator, or are just looking for your first toy or first g-spot toy look no further. If you're a more advanced user, you may want to keep looking.

Pros:
Great g-spot curve, quiet, discreet, great introduction to g-spot stimulation, great beginner toy.
Cons:
Small (girth-wise), not waterproof, easy to hit controls during use, not the best 'handle'.

extremely useful review

Use

Lelo's Gigi is an almost perfect g-spot toy, that can also be used as a clitoral, and/or nipple stimulator. Gigi has an amazing curve that makes it amazing for finding and stimulating the g-spot. You can insert Gigi and rock her a little, or do some shallow thrusting. Gigi's unique flat head works amazingly as a g-spot stimulator because it covers more surface area that most other g-spot vibrators, but also works great as a clitoral stimulator for the same reason. Gigi is not water proof! Keep moisture away from the controls and charging port!

Gigi is small enough (she just about fits in my hand) that she won't get in the way if you wanted to use her with a partner, but also won't get in the way if you wanted to use a clitoral vibrator with her.

Gigi is very travel friendly, you can lock her so she won't turn on during travel and her satin pouch makes great travel storage.

Material / Texture

Gigi's body is made of 100% pure silicone (soft, silky, and adds drag without lubricant on it) her body is hard, not bendable. The silicone body is smooth, this could definitely be a great beginner toy or first g-spot toy since it is small and non-textured. There was a slight odor to the silicone when I first opened the box, but after washing her it seemed to go away.
    • Light odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

Gigi has an amazing shape for g-spot stimulation, it worked really well to stimulate my g-spot. I think this toy could work well for beginners because of its smooth texture and relatively small shape. I have a few things that I didn't like about the design. First, it's small the widest point is the head at 1 1/8" and I love, love girth. I would give this toy 5 stars if it had a bit more girth. I don't like that this toy isn't waterproof. I'm not one to take toys into the shower with me, but since this toy is more expensive it worries me that I could damage it, accidentally. Gigi is really hard for me to maneuver while inside me, I usually lube her with a pea sized amount of water based lube and if any of that happens to get on my hands the plastic handle and controls become hard to press and hold on to. If there were silicone grips on the sides of the base it would be awesome!

Functions / Performance / Controls

When I first turned Gigi on I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet she is! At the highest vibration you might wake up someone sleeping next to you but with a door closed no one should be able to hear. Gigi has deep, rumbly vibrations I would say that the highest setting is moderately-high, if there was a further step up I would probably go higher. The vibrations seem to be more focused in the head of the Gigi but can be felt throughout the toy. The controls of the Gigi are like Lelo's other traditional vibrator shapes (Liv, and Inez) hitting the + button turns the toy on, holding it down will take you to the highest speed. Pressing the - button with decrease the intensity and holding the minus button down will turn it all the way off. Gigi has 5 function modes: 1 (the default mode) continuous vibration 2. long interval pulse 3. medium interval pulse 4. short interval pulse 5. wave pulsation (it's kind of a weak wave, not something I particularly enjoyed.) Pressing the up or down arrow lets you cycle through the different modes. The controls are very easily pushed during use, there's no way to lock Gigi in one vibration mode. Gigi has a light indicator around the control interface that lights up white when turning her on and switching through functions, goes red when she needs to be charged. Gigi needs to be charged for ~2 hours and will get 3-4 hours of playtime fully charged. Gigi can be locked by holding the interface dial down for 5 seconds to unlock repeat the locking process.

Care and Maintenance

Gigi is extremely easy to care for, since she's made out of silicone you can wipe her down with soap and water before and after each use. Be careful to not get water near the controls or ports, she's not waterproof! Don't use cleaners containing alcohol, petrol, or acetone. The box that comes with makes excellent storage! It's a plain box that won't attract any unwanted attention, Gigi also comes with a satin pouch if you'd rather not keep the box that she comes with. Gigi is made of pure silicone, so it's best to use water-based lubes. If you're a die-hard silicone lube fan you can always do a patch test though. Don't leave your toy in direct sunlight, and don't expose her to extreme heat (baking toys is not a good idea.) Don't store with other silicone toys or silicone composite toys.

Packaging

Gigi comes in a light cardboard box that's the same color of your toy. It lists what's inside: the other heavier cardboard box which is a slate black color. The slate black box is very discreet, there's nothing on the outside of it except a LELO logo, which isn't very noticeable. If giving Gigi for a gift the box is comes in is very beautiful, no reason why you should have to put it in something else. Then after you take off the lid of the slate box there's your Gigi! She's in a heavy duty plastic mold, with a clear, light plastic covering her. When you take the heavy duty mold that she's in out you get to see everything she comes with! Her charger, her satin pouch, her user manual, her one year warranty, and her 10 year quality guarantee/Lelo catalog. That's right, Lelo will replace your toy a year after it's been purchased if you find a manufacturing defect. But this does not cover cosmetic damage cause by misuse, accident or improper care. If something goes wrong with your toy in a 10 year span they will give you a 50% discount on your next purchase. The user manual and 1 year warranty both come in multiple languages, and cover most of what you need to know about the toys but Lelo also has a website if you have any further questions.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Very informative

Follow-up commentary
I really do like Gigi still. She has her flaws, but is still one of my top twp vibrators I grab for. I'm really noticing how long the charge lasts compared to my FF vibrator and I'm definitely appreciating it!

actually though i'm working on my review right now- yes for internal stimulation it was a bit uncomfortable unless i rocked it against my pubic bone. I can only take like 4 max 5 inches inserted and though i was initially drooling over the shape on the tip it felt the same as when you're having sex and your cervix gets bruised- except it wasn't against my cervix. its quite hard and has little give to it though the silicone is quite nice. I used it more on my clit and she seemed to enjoy the vibrations(shrug)

    • How easy is the Gigi- G Spot Vibrators to use during sex?
    • I think it's more of a solo toy. You should look at the We vibes.

I think it works pretty well for this purpose. I use it simultaneously with a dildo all the time. Is it the best for this purpose? I would say you'd be better off using a smaller vibrator such as the Lelo Siri which is another personal favorite of mine during piv sex. Although it is pretty easy to use the Gigi. Works in all positions where your body isn't completely pressed against a surface or your partner's body. You'll need to give a little space in between you and your partner to fit the toy but it still works really well.

  • Lelo Gigi - Using a Condom or Not
    • I have recently bought the Gigi vibrator from LELO.

For my first use, I used a condom to cover the Gigi (the brand I used is Lifestyles Studded). After removing the condom, I noticed that the lubricant, from the inside the condom, left a kind of oily residue on the Gigi. I tried to use my toy cleaner to remove it, but I am slightly worried

I am worried that the lubricant from this condom is not water-based. Now, I have a few questions that I was unable to research answers to.

      1) Was the condom I used water-based?
      2) Have I ruined my new Gigi?
      3) Is it best to use a condom on the Gigi or not?

Any advice/help will be much appreciated.

      - Dr. Manhattan
    • From what I can find via Google, it looks like the lubricant in that condom isn't a silicone lubricant so it should be okay.

Lubricant Ingredients: Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Carbomer

I don't think you're ruined anything. If you're concerned you might want to try to find a different type of condom that leaves less residue. I have no suggestions because almost all condoms irritate me and since I'm fluid bonded with my partner we don't use them.

What would you recommend to clean the Gigi? I currently have a toy cleaner called "Swiss Navy."

Will using soap and water be bad for the Gigi? At least just for the silicone part of the vibrator?

  • is jt worth it
    • Is the product worth the price ????
    • I'm pretty sure we answered a similar set of questions about the pros and cons of expensive vibrators.
    • Quote: Is the product worth the price ????
Absolutely!! I bought mine a couple years ago after (literally) melting my previous one. Between the cost of having to replace my vibrators and the batteries constantly, I went for it and have no regrets!! Gigi is a regular part of our sex life! However, I use it only for cliteral stimulation (which works for me) so I can't speak if you are interested in G-spot usage.
The one drawback is I've found that I tend to hit the speed controls during use. Otherwise, the warranty is great (though i've never had one problem with it), it's easy to keep clean and store, and I LOVE that it's rechargable.
      Enjoy!

I highly recommend the Gigi for G-spot play. It's firm enough to stimulate it with the amount of pressure needed, but velvety enough to not be too much. Additionally the vibration settings I found to be ideal for pressing against my G-spot. Just have a towel ready!
    • Quote: I'd like to try a g-spot vib, but i dont know if this should be the one to buy...Any comments?
I would recommend the Gigi for g-spot play. I will point out though that if you have a g-spot that is on the further side in terms of depth in the vagina, or if like me your vaginal canal has a sharp curve to it then you should look for a toy that is longer than the Gigi. I love the Gigi as a clitoral vibrator but based on my anatomy it didn't do much for me as a g-spot stimulator. Take your anatomy into consideration before you buy a toy for g-spot play. If you are like me and think you'll need a more lengthy toy try the G-Spot Pink glass stimulator. I'm currently working on a review for that toy and it is a personal favorite of mine.

  • Charging Gigi in the UK
    • FiredrakeNemmy
So uh, my gf lives across the pond in England and I wanted to get a little something to bring her next I go visit.

She really likes the use of the Gigi vibrator but I'm worried about the charging of the toy, I learned to be wary of such things when I blew out the power to my Wii :X

But anyways, if anyone who has one could kindly take a look at the allowed voltages I would really appreciate it. The voltage info can usually be found on the charger itself ( a bunch of random numbers and such and has that UL logo ) Does it list the Input as 100V-240V or just something around 100V?

      Thanks!

They're good for 100-240V. I charged mine while living abroad just fine.
    • The charger I have with mine has the 100V-240V range.

You might also look at getting a charger specifically for using the Gigi in England.

    • My 22nd birthday is coming up which means birthday monies <3 I'm trying to see if I can orgasm with my gspot but haven't had any luck. I've been close but no beans yet. I'm debating getting this to see if it'll work for me, plus I'm trying to go off birth control, it's made my sex drive completely dissappear after 2 years of being on it, not to mention making me depressed, moody, etc.

Anyway, would this be recommended? Where's the vibration, though? More in the shaft towards the buttons or more at the tip? And is it plenty strong? (I need strong vibrations.)

I'll have to order at a time my dad won't be home, though, and make sure it arrives when he's at work--how embarassing it'd be for me for him to find out I have toys!

  • is the gigi a good starter g-spot vibe?
    • My friend Lee's birthday is coming up and ever since I told her about female ejaculation and what it is and that I can do it, she's been trying to find everything about it and is really interested in a g-spot vibrator, but she doesn't really like the way most vibrators feel with vibrations. To her, they feel like an "Oh, there's something vibrating in my ladyparts but it's doing nothing for me." So, my question is, is the Gigi different in that sense that the vibrations have some "variety" to them and they're not so monotonous? I'd love to get her the Gigi for her birthday and have heard nothing but great things about it.

My Gigi is on its way, so I'm not much help there... Although, whenever I read about female ejaculation the Ella is usually involved.

It doesn't vibrate, but you may want to check it out.

Miss KissThis totally beat me to the punch! If it has to vibrate and you want to be able to use it for clitoral stimulation, Gigi is great. But if you're on a lower budget and only want g-spot stimulation, the Ella is one of this forum's favorite dildos.

  • Best G-spot vibrator. Which one to pick?
    • Rachell25
LELO has presented a couple of very well designed G-spot vibrators, like Gigi, Liv and Elise, lately. Just looking at them makes me feel horny. They all have great features and different vibration modes and they are also rechargeable, so I can safe my money on batteries.
Gigi seems to be the toy of my dreams due to its well pronounced curved tip. I guess that will lead to a better contact with my G-spot.
Any ideas, suggestions, tips? Anything will do.

PS: Will Gigi make me squirt???
    • Rainbow
Wow... that looks really splendid, in fact, all of them do.
It looks like it's going to be my G-spot's best friend for ages.

That must be a bargain but it is kind of expensive for me at the moment but as soon as I can afford one I will surely have one in my toy box.
    • Siren
My dear, not every woman is able to "squirt", it depends on every woman's physiology but it is definitely going to send you to Seven's Heaven of Pleasure.
I own one, the Liv, and it's just terrible, in the good meaning of the word.
I can assure you, you made a perfect choice if you're looking for G-spot stimulation.
