Gigi - g-spot vibrator by LELO - review by ChaiMocha

Gigi is a quiet, multi-functioning, rechargeable, silicone vibrator made for G-spot stimulation, and is produced by the luxury toy manufacturer, LELO. Gigi is available in three lovely colors: turquoise, pink and rose. I chose the rose colored Gigi. The rose color is nearly identical to the color of my Jopen Vr3, although it is perhaps just a tad pinker while the Vr3 is a tad more purple.

According to my measurements, which differ slightly from those of the product page, Gigi is about 6.5” long with 3.75” of insertable area. The widest insertable area of Gigi is the tip, which is 4” around, although for the most part the shaft is 3” around. Gigi’s upper insertable portion is coated in silicone, and the rest of Gigi is made from ABS plastic. Silicone is a food-grade material and is 100% body safe. It rates a 10/10 on the EdenFantasy’s material safety scale. Gigi is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and both latex and phthalate-free.

The control buttons for this toy can be found on its front, below the insertable portion. This toy has 4 buttons. On the right and left are a + button and a – button. You hold down these buttons to power on the toy, and then use them to control the speed of the vibrations. On the top and bottom are arrow buttons, one is pointing up and one is pointing down. These are used for controlling Gigi’s many patterns.

I’m actually pretty impressed with Gigi. After my experience with Siri, I wasn’t expecting too much, but I think Gigi and I should get along much better. We already are. Although Gigi is not any stronger in the vibration department than Siri, and in fact may not be quite as strong, I much prefer Gigi’s shape to that of Siri, even for clitoral stimulation. I also find the patterns to be much more exciting when Gigi is inserted. I never enjoyed them much with Siri externally. Another thing I like more about Gigi is that it comes with a tab to cover its charging port when not charging. Although it’s a small thing, I really appreciate even that small bit of protection, especially since neither toy is waterproof.

Gigi comes quite well packaged. The outer box is quite flimsy and not at all discreet. This box shows a picture of your toy, as well as the LELO logo and other information. If you plan to give Gigi as a gift, you have the option of disposing of this box first, although you don’t necessarily need to. I find it to still be classy. Once you remove the outer box you have a much stronger, longer-lasting black box with LELO embossed in small, shiny lettering. When you remove the top of this box, you will find Gigi carefully placed in a foam cutout. This box can be used for long-term storage if you so choose, however, Gigi also arrives with a black, satin drawstring pouch for this purpose.
