So, I thought it was going to be the ultimate g-spot vibe because I just recently had my first clitoral AND g-spot orgasm at the same time!!!! But alas, it was not. I think the proportions were off for my internal body type. The shaft could have been thicker and the nose or head could have been a bit smaller. The head actually was a bit uncomfortable, like it was poking me in all the wrong places. I decided to use this toy 3 times before reviewing it and it was a good idea. By the third time I had near perfected how to stimulate my clit with it. I loved the feel of the vibrations. Maybe it was just me but they seemed to scream luxury. I don't know if this is appropriate but my suggestion would be to empty your bowels before using Gigi and her peculiar head will be more comfortable, especially because when you are actually using a toy this isn't generally (unless you are SUPER adventurous) where you want to go with it.
Gigi's unique head is nice to use on your clit because she is quite firm and you can apply lots of pressure- especially enjoyable if you're into more surface area and less pin-point stimulation.

Gigi is made of medical grade silicone and plastic. I have the magenta one, though it looks more like purple under some lighting and Lelo calls it rose. It also comes in turquoise and light pink. The texture of the silicone is nice, but the shaft of the toy is rather hard without any give.
I used a nice water-based lube that I seemed to only need on her head. Because this toy is silicone, you can't use a silicone or oil based lube with her so stick to water-based. If, for some reason, you wanted to use a condom with her, you can, because she is shaped perfectly for it, even if she isn't quite phallic like anyone that I have met. I did have one boyfriend with a perfect g-spot penis, but he was quite different from Gigi. Because she is silicone, and non-porous, you don't have to use a condom with her if you want to share, though cleaning between use with anti-bacterial soap and water is suggested.
She had a mild chemical smell that was quickly replaced by my favorite smell- ME!!! no taste though (except me again). Her texture is smooth all the way down; no ridges, but the angle of the head does provide an edge for clitoral stimulation. Great for intermediate users I would say.

I really like the size of Gigi- I thought she was just perfect. She is a length of 6 1/2 inches with an insertable length of 4 1/2" and 3 1/2" around. The handle fits nicely in your hand and the dock for the charger is right on the end of the toy with a rubber Lelo symbol protecting the hole for longevity of use. I first had my eye on her because of her shape. For some reason, the back slope of the end of the vibe kept giving me images in my mind of how good it would feel. Unfortunately, it didn't work with my anatomy as well as I had hoped. Because of how nice her size is, (I don't have a lot of room inside and tend to go for toys on the small side) she was just perfect for exploring externally and internally, so I used her everywhere. My clit liked the flat parts as well as the corners and rounded back end. So her length is great for first time users, but the shape of her head may be irritating as it seemed to poke me like when a long penis pokes your cervix.
When kept in her satin pouch, Gigi would be easy to hide to assure discretion when traveling. She fits great into my toy box which complains when I add a big jelly rabbit that seems to take over.
Gigi is quite aesthetically pleasing: rose silicone with a silver band and white plastic.I think she'd be good for both beginner and advanced users.

After properly charging Gigi, ( I ALWAYS charge my new toys overnight before using them even if they do have a factory charge)sit down and lets look at the controls. On the base of the ergonomically designed handle we see a button quadrant. It can be pushed down as one or pressed in four different directions. The + sign has 7 different speeds at just straight vibration. The - opposite the + slows the vibe down and off. The arrow going up changes the pulse mode and down is in reverse. One specialty feature of Gigi is a wave pulsation that is supposed to move from the handle to the tip and back, as Lelo boasts of a special 'pleasure point' right down by the silver band on the handle. I did not find this really worked as she's too stiff to rock around from my vagina to my clit anyway but it did provide a nice pleasant vibe. To lock, hold down the entire interface for approx. 5 seconds. To unlock, do the same thing.
"If the battery is running low, the LED indicator will prompt you to charge by emitting a red glow" well here's where I ran into problems. Right after I finish this review I am packing up Gigi and sending her back where she came from because every day, whether I use her or not, and charge for several hours, she is blinking red. This is where the warranty comes in, which is explained further down in the review.
For Gigis that are NOT faulty-
Charging is easy as pie- the charger just plugs into any outlet and then into the end of the handle, after removing the rubber stopper. Once plugged in, the control panel will blink white to show it's charging.
Apparently 1 1/2 hours is good for a 2 hour charge but I found a little longer will give you a better chance of getting close to a 2 hour charge. For sanitary reasons, store Gigi in her sanitary pouch while charging and for discretion as well.
Remember, Gigi isn't waterproof, so best use this toy in the rest of the house or car and stay away from the bathroom.

Gigi is silicone, so she can be washed with anti-bacterial soap and water or wiped off with an anti-bacterial wipe. I would stay away from bleach because of her intense color. Gigi is not waterproof, so don't immerse her fully in water. She has a plastic handle and a metal band, where if water got in, she would probably short out.
I like to keep my rechargeable toys on the charger when I'm not using them so that just like a cordless telephone they don't die during my conversations!!!! I guess you could charge her in the box she came in but I prefer to store her in her pouch, since the cord goes right into her instead of being magnetically attached.
Gigi is mostly made of silicone, so remember she can't be used with a silicone or oil based lube. There are tons of great water-based ones on the market. My fave is Intimate Organics Defense.
She comes in a nice black box you could keep her in, with an area for her charger, or there is also a silky black pouch included.

Lelo Gigi comes in the same discreet classy box that most Lelo toys come in: Black, approx 4" by 10", holds both the toy and the charger. This box is shipped to you inside a white box with a picture on the front that refers to Gigi as a 'pleasure object'. Gigi also comes with a black satin pouch if the box is too large or cumbersome. Inside the box, she is displayed on black velvet in a space cut to hold her perfectly. It would be great for a gift.
The instructions and the warranty are in little booklets inside. It took me a while to understand her controls but I basically got it figured out. There was a nice sample of Lelo lube which I noticed was glycerine free and contained aloe, which is great for us ladies.

When I receive my new Gigi in the mail, I will re-visit this review and I'm crossing my fingers because I did enjoy her type of vibration. She would also be good for massage on the rest of the body, though not for deep tissue massage, just for relaxation and stimulation of erogenous zones!

I was so excited when I got Gigi- my first Lelo!!! At first, I felt let down when she didn't activate my g-spot as I had hoped but Oh she made my clit feel good!!!!
