The UFO by Fun Factory is one of the most unique clitoral stimulators I own. The shape lends itself to many areas, and the diffuse nature of the vibrations mean that, for most people, those areas won't go numb or be 'burned'.

This toy is one that you won't mind sharing with a partner, and even though it isn't a penetrative toy there are many ways that this will excite and tease. The UFO will work for a wide variety of players, though it really shines as a clitoral/vulva stimulator.

As a solo toy or a partner toy there are many different situations that this toy is amazing in.

The UFO arrives with a sample of Fun Factory's own water based lube, 'Toy Fluid'. The stuff is amazing and I really recommend the user trying the lube and perhaps even purchasing it from EdenFantasys.

This toy is 100% silicone that is food-grade material, and is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. Fun Factory always uses very high quality materials in their toys and I have never had any complaints about the mechanical parts either.

There is absolutely zero smell associated with the toy and it doesn't seem to hang on to body smells, though a good washing and thorough air drying should return the silicone to neutral smell.

This toy is 100% non-porous and waterproof, so it is safe to share as long as it is cleaned off before being handed off to another player. It is not easy to cover this toy as its shape makes it awkward, but you could wrap the toy in plastic film (such as clingwrap). It would be just as easy to have toy wipes or a commercial spray available during play if you intend to share the toy.

The toy's silicone body has quite a lot of give to it but it is still firm enough to apply some pressure if the player likes firmer pressure on the clitoris or penis/scrotum. It has quite a bit of drag to it but a few drops of water based lube will slick it up nicely, providing a luxurious sliding sensation. You can have two very distinct sensations from the silicone, but there are no textures to speak of as the silicone is very smooth. It does pick up lint, so the user might need to rinse it off before use. The white, solid plastic control panel is smooth enough to not hurt if you should stroke it over sensitive areas and the raised up area can provide a bit of texture to the fun.

This isn't a texture that is relegated to either beginners or more advanced users, which is one of the beautiful things about this toy. A beginner receiving or buying this for themselves would be guaranteed a lovely experience from which to continue their toying, and a jaded player, such as myself, will find new inspiration. There's something for everyone here.

The UFO has a really strange and wonderful design: it looks exactly like a classic unidentified flying saucer. The controls are domed over the silicone body and there is another silicone covered bump on the opposite side of the toy giving the user many many different and unique areas to stimulate different areas of the body.

The toy measures 3.5 inches across and almost 10 inches around the perimeter of the disc shape. It measures 8.5 inches around from the top to the bottom. It fits easily in even the smallest hand, and provides a surface that is easy to grip even with lube slick hands. It is a great size for stroking over genitals or large muscle groups.

The disc shape carries the vibrations easily and the silicone mutes them slightly, spreading the vibrations out a bit so that this becomes amazing for stimulating the clitoris or for easing tight and painful muscles. The vibrations are powerful enough to be easily felt on less than full power.

The size is easy and intuitive for any user regardless of the user's level of experience. It is easy to secret away and comes with a gorgeous pouch for storing the toy. The toy may look like a toy but it doesn't scream sex toy, and could be easily passed off as a muscle massager. As such it is perfect for travel though as far as I have been able to tell it cannot be locked. It would be difficult for the buttons to be pressed accidentally and have it turn on during travel. Since the toy has a non-traditional sex toy shape it's not going to raise any eyebrows but it might get a few chuckles.

The UFO is part of the Click N Charge line of toys. It relies on magnets to charge the ion lithium battery and doesn't have any port that could allow water to seep into the toy, ruining it. The attachment point for the charger is quite a bit more sturdy and intuitive than the Mini vibe Bubbles, which means the head of the charger won't fall off with the slightest movement and you get a strong magnetic bond between toy and charger head. The lights on the the control panel light up while the toy is charging, as do the words FunFactory on the charging head, letting you know the toy is properly charging. Fun Factory advises that the user not store the toy uncharged as it is bad for the battery.

I would love to say for certain how long the toy holds a charge but I have left it on for over 5 hours and it was still vibrating away! So either I have the energizer bunny of toy batteries or this toy is just that good!

The controls on the UFO are very intuitive and easy to use. There are three buttons: a pretty symbol, a + , and a -. The symbol turns on the toy and changes the vibration pattern, while the + and - control the vibrational intensity. It is easy to change the speed/variation during play, but it takes a bit of force to press the buttons, meaning that during that crucial point you won't accidentally bump the button and change anything.

The toy is moderately noisy, meaning that it can be heard on the highest setting outside a closed bedroom door, but it sounds like a fan rather than a sex toy. It can be heard easily inside the room even if under the covers unless you use a low intensity setting. If your partner is asleep he/she will probably hear the toy, but not be disturbed unless he/she is a very light sleeper. In the bathroom the sound doesn't ricochet off the tiles like some toys, and underwater it is muffled nearly completely.

Speaking of which, this toy is amazing in the bathroom! The vibrations are carried easily through the water and the drag of the silicone means it doesn't get so slick that you will drop it repeatedly during shower play. I have spot tested my silicone lube with this toy and there was no reaction, so I was able to use this toy in the shower without washing a water based lube down the drain.

The toy has three vibrational patterns: straight vibration, pulsing vibration, and a roller coastering type of pattern. There may only be three types of patterns but there are an infinite number of combinations! There is a booster button to allow the user to access the vibration patterns quickly and easily.

The patterns are:
*Straight vibration- no variation in pulse
*Fast and short pulse
*Short and quick rollercoastering type pattern
*Rollercoastering that has a longer build up and short return
*Rollercoastering that has a long build up and slow return

The vibrations are carried evenly throughout the toy but are strongest in the bottom bulge of the toy and around the edges of the disc. This means the user can rest the toy on the body over a wide area for a diffused total vibration, or turn the toy sideways and target a specific area. The vibrations are buzzy but deep and can cause the palms to tingle if used on a higher setting. This toy won't cause numbness of the clitoris, but it is powerful enough to please even the clits-o-steel. It is deep enough to sooth muscles that are knotted on the surface, but deeper tissue knots will require some work. The great thing is with a little pressure this can be an amazing deep tissue massager as this little baby can stand up to the pressure, and with a little lube you can work out the knots with the smooth shape of the bump at the bottom of the toy.

This toy is fairly easy to care for as all it requires is a washing with mild soap and hot water. The user could opt for a commercial toy cleaning preparation and a quick rinse, but should avoid boiling this toy or washing it in the dishwasher. A quick spritz with a 10% bleach and water solution will also work.

Fun Factory provides the user with a sturdy cardboard box and a lovely bag to store the toy safely, and I would recommend using them. Store the toy out of direct sunlight and in a lint free container. Even still the user will probably need to rinse the toy before use.

This is extremely good quality silicone so it's unlikely it will interact with other silicone toys or silicone lube, but it's always better to err on the side of caution, especially given the purchase price. Store away from softer silicone toys or lower quality, and always spot test your silicone toys if you want to use a silicone lube with them.

The UFO arrives in a lovely medium weight cardboard box inside a sleeve of lighter weight cardboard. The sleeve is decorated with pictures of the toy on a blue background. It shows a few of the features of the toy and slides off the other box easily. The storage box is peach colored on the outside and red on the inside. It is completely featureless making it perfect for discreet storage.

Inside the box is a double thick storage pouch. It is one layer of organza fabric that is made into a drawstring bag. It is see thru and can be removed from the outer layer of opaque polyester. The polyester is a lovely shade of peach and perfect for storing your toy, keeping it safe from bumps and other toys.

You could store the charging cord in one bag and the toy in another. Or place the toy in the double thickness bag and store the cord and toy in the cardboard box. The box is only slightly larger than the toy so it won't take up scads of space.

The box makes this a perfect gift box for that special someone.
