Every year Christmas is way more advertised in November than Thanksgiving, do you care?
Do you care about Christmas making Thanksgiving invisible?

I don't care for Christmas.

Thanksgiving is my favorite, so I don't ignore it in my little world!
10/04/2012
thanksgiving doesn't go wasted!
10/04/2012
I do not care
10/04/2012
Not really... I mean, I prefer Thanksgiving over Christmas because the food is awesome... but I just don't really pay all that much attention to holidays to begin with.
10/04/2012
Nope, not a bit.
10/04/2012
I like Christmas a lot more anyway so I don't really mind.

Christmas is my least favorite holiday, and it annoys me that decorations in stores go up in mid-September. Let us enjoy Halloween at least.
As for Thanksgiving, I don't really care.

It doesn't bother me. But I have noticed that it gets a lot more attention.

My family blows them both out of the water. We always go all out.

I feel like I should care, buuuut I don't. I love Christmas Thanksgiving isn't a big deal for me.

I actually do care because it shows a sort of... less thankful world every year. Not many people care about Thanksgiving because well, nobody's all to excited to give thanks for what they've been blessed with each year, but instead, they're too excited for Christmas day to come so they can "get stuff."

I personally love Thanksgiving and celebrate it all month. I am happy to spend at least one day being thankful, and I think it's one of the best holidays we have. Christmas has lost its meaning for a lot of people, so it's hard to really celebrate it for its real reason these days, but we do.
I just wonder, if more people spent one day every year just thinking of things they have to be thankful for, maybe they'd be a lot less bitter and selfish and rude. Some people anyway.

I hate that they start playing Christmas music in mid October in some places!

nah, thanksgiving is just foreplay for christmas in my world

Bugs the hell out of me, damnit! Even worse is that I now have to listen to the holiday music all day at work. The stuff is already being shipped to our store, freakin crazy!

I think that advertising Xmas earlier and earlier every year is pretty ridiculous.

Christmas drives me crazy in the worst ways. I thought we were all supposed to be thankful for what we have, etc. which is what Thanksgiving is about but instead it's always a mad rush to get to Christmas and buy more crap every year. I can't stand that there are Christmas displays already out and it's not even Halloween!

I show my love for others through food. I LOVE to cook a great meal to make people feel cared for and a bit special. I can't afford expensive gifts or fancy day tips with people I care for, but I can welcome you into my home, treat you like family, and make you a meal that will have you excited for the next invite over. Thanksgiving gives me a chance to do that more than Christmas does. Thanksgiving sets the tone for Christmas.

Who needs an ad for Thanksgiving?
10/04/2012
don't care in the slightest

I still celebrate both the same way I always have

I care, because I like to decorate for thanksgiving because we do a big family get together. My daughters birthday is Nov 26, and we make a big deal of the holiday.
I like to focus one holiday at a time. Besides, the kids drive me nuts asking for everything they see that they like and want for Christmas.
Christmas is at my dads house. His girlfriend goes all out.

I do not

it's become too commercial - all holidays have - we need to savor each one before moving on to the next - that makes them more special.

I don't care!
10/08/2012
not really
10/08/2012
I like Christmas, but I guess it couldn't hurt to pay more attention to what we're thankful for...and turkey.
10/09/2012
Don't care, since there aren't many Thanksgiving decorations I need, and my family still gets to celebrate it
