Our first try at the Clone-a-Willy kit left my man flustered and unable to get into the mold in time. While this problem was solved easily enough with a refill kit, I would advise engaging in plenty of playtime beforehand to make sure that everyone is comfortable and having a good time. This kit can provide a fun evening if you are both familiar with the directions ahead of time and have all the materials prepared. That way he doesn't lose it while you are mixing and pouring. When you are finished, you are left with a perfect copy of his member, down to every vein and bump (and even hair!) that is inserted into the mold. Just like boyfriends, these are disposable! (Kidding. Kind of.) Because you probably don't want your ex's penis sitting around your apartment, all kinds of fun effigy-burning or smashing with a hammer could be done after he's out of the picture. And these things are hard to destroy! I'm really not kidding when I say they're durable. Really, try smashing one. They bounce. No breaking or cracking. A little less satisfying than intended on the destruction and revenge end, but overall I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the materials this toy is made of.

I read a review where a man made a few of these single-handedly (hats off!). Instead of just placing the plastic tube over his penis, he cut off the closed end of the tube, sat down leaning back and poured in the mold, making sure it covered his entire length.
This actually seems to make more sense, provided you protect whatever it is you're sitting on, as there might be less fumbling about with timing and overflow of contents.
Has anyone tried it this way with more success? Any opinions? I read a review where a man made a few of these single-handedly (hats off!). My hubby is rather "gifted" in his length as well as girth, so in some parts of the dildo, the material was very thin near the bullet. I would suggest that if you do do one, don't put the bullet in.

Hmmm, this is interesting. My boyfriend and I want to get this and the only thing we're worried about is that it won't work properly and we'll have to buy another one. This seems like a good technique. We'll try it out and I'll let you know :)

Interesting. The material IS actual Rubber? And doesn't smell at all? I'm wondering if it's something else, as rubber usually has a pretty distinctive odor.

The material is actually rubber, according to the manufacturer. (And it looks and feels like rubber to me.) There is no noticeable smell while using the toy, but you could probably detect the odor if it were close enough to your nose.
The mold takes a few hours to harden before the casting can be poured. After the casting has been poured and the vibrator inserted into the center of the cavity it will take about 24 hours to cure. Then your custom willy will be ready to use
Because the size of the mold that can be made is dictated by the size of the tube used for molding, I suppose you can "clone" as much of your man as the mold will accommodate. If you left it the tube long enough for him to insert part of his balls and could also keep him erect with them inside of the tube and molding gel for 2 minutes, then you would be able to. I would recommend however that you only try to make a mold of the penis. Getting a lot of hair covered by the molding gel could be uncomfortable, as you would have to peel off any extra gel once it has set later.
