My first prostate play

After using as a nice stepping stone for prostate play, the value is now in the couples play and the excitement for my wife using it on me. It served as a gentle and welcoming way to gain some general and pleasurable experience but soon left me looking for something more focused and intense.

Pros:
For the average guy that's never ventured to his own back door, a non-intimidating starter toy.
Cons:
Beginners toy: don't expect mind-blowing results--too flexible for stimulating the p-spot.

Use

If you're the guy that's read about this "P-spot" business but haven't yet done anything to experience it, then this may just be the ticket for you to get started with. It's far from being intimidating -- neither in size, nor shape. It's anatomically friendly and easy for a beginner to use.

Material / Texture

Lelo uses a high grade, body safe silicone. No smells; no seams. The texture is matte and thus, takes a bit more lube than something completely glossy. Silicone products should use water based lube only, but it did handle the accidental usage of silicone based lube just fine.

Design / Shape / Size

This is really designed for the guy that's new to prostate play. That said, it will likely be insufficient for those with prior experience. The shape is easy to insert and easy to remove. The shallow taper on the removal will not hold it in place securely. The ring makes for easy usage with a partner or solo and makes for little worries of the toy getting swallowed. The ring is not terribly comfortable for extended wear.

Performance

The good thing is that it's flexible, making it anatomically fit most anyone. The down side is that it's flexible, making it difficult to really put pressure on the prostate once it's in place. This was certainly the biggest letdown about the toy.

Care and Maintenance

Pure silicone is easy to clean -- use your favorite toy cleaner or boil if you wish to sterilize. Attracts a moderate amount of lint. Use the provided storage bag to keep it tidy.

Packaging

Lelo is always supreme in packaging. Very discreet box with perfectly molded insert and instructions. Included is a convenient storage pouch to tuck the Bob away in.

Personal comments

It makes for some fun couples play, and I'm happy whenever my wife pulls it out for play. That said, it gets very little solo use after the initial excitement since it doesn't give the mind blowing "hands free" prostate orgasms that one might have read about.

Great job on this review. My guy has expressed that he would never be open to anal play, so oh well. I'm sorry that it didn't stimulate your prostate the way you wanted it to.

@Jenyana: I debated about putting specifics on size and erred on the side of brevity since the Eden page has all the exact size measurements one could want. I recon simply mentioning that the listed measurements were indeed valid for my copy.
