Moon shine is a butt plug, which is intended to be worn in the anal cavity. Some of them can be worn during your everyday activities and others can be used during intercourse. Moon shine can be used vaginally or anally. Since it is made of glass you can test out temperature play also, I highly recommend cold glass. There is nothing like that feeling and it is unexplainable.

When moon shine is worn anally you should use a compatible lube, for easier insertion. Depending on what you can take size wise you may require a warm up toy. I did not and I found it to be really filling. Just standing up and walking around is enough to tingle my whole body and make me shiver.

Moon shine can also be used vaginally; if you have one. (Do not go butt to vagina this is not healthy for the vagina and could give you an infection.) When you use moon shine vaginally you can do kegels, your everyday task, or possibly wear it during intercourse. I find it great for kegels and when they are performed I find amazing G-spot stimulation is provided. I prefer to wear this plug vaginally but sometimes I do find that the hard material can be uncomfortable. This is only when I move in certain ways; I notice that is will rub my pelvic bone. I find this plug very comfortable to wear around (as long as I move right) and very filling to the point of G spot stimulation.

The plug could be worn by some during intercourse, this is going to depend on how you are shaped, angled, and how close together your holes are. If you are shaped similar to me this is impossible. There is not even enough space in between for the based to go and the fullness the plug provides to me does not even allow me to insert a finger in the other hole. The base may or not interfere with double penetration; it may rub on your partner. Again this will vary women to women and everyone is capable of different things.

Moon shine is made of Pyrex glass. Pyrex glass has a safety rating of 10 because it can be sterilized, is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non porous, and phthalates free. If you were to drop this plug it will not shatter or splinter due to the type of glass, but it will break into larger pieces. (Never use any toy if it is damaged or chipped.) Glass does not have a smell or taste to it.

Moon shine has no noticeable added texture, but when you run your fingers down the head you can feel the ripples with the swirls of colors. This is only a slight feeling and does not provide any extra stimulation. The texture is appropriate for beginners and advanced users alike; there is nothing too intense about it.

Moon shine is shaped like a shade on a base. It stands 3 ¾” tall, but only about 3” is insert able. The top is mushroom shaped with rounded tip for easy insertion. This top is labeled as multicolored, but really is clear with red and golden swirls on the head. The biggest around is 5” circumference (1 5/8” diameter) on the head, which is about 2”long. The head is attached to a post that is 1 ¼”long and has 3”circumference (7/8” diameter). The post stands on a flared base that is 6”circumference (about 2”diameter) and ½”thick. This post and base is clear colored.

The size, design, and shape are appropriate for anal use, since there is a large enough flared base. The plug will most definitely work for men and women. The size of this toy just might be somewhat large for some and not large enough for others. If you think the size is large, use a warm up toy and lots of lube, take your time, and remember that not all of us can take all sizes. If you think the size is too small then you may want to look at the Sexy shades medium or large as your choice plug, again go slow, use a warm up toy if need be, and lots of lube.

The design is somewhat discreet. I have mine placed on my computer desk, since it has a mushroom like design, it looks like a figurine.

Moon shine was my first butt plug, and to be honest I had no idea what to expect. As it turns out, I love it, as said before I do find that moving certain ways to be uncomfortable but this is due to the hard and unforgivable material. I have not had any issues with it feeling like it would fall out, but this could vary from person to person due to shape and sizes. It is great for long term wear. I have worn it around for 2hrs, and since it does not make noise no one will know you are wearing it unless they check! It may make you moan in pleasure but that is what you want, right?

My favorite use is to wear it around vaginally. When I do so, I find myself doing kegels that provide G spot stimulation. Also standing up and walking around the house I find the fullness to provide tingles throughout my whole body, it is really amazing feeling and sometimes I have to stop walking or hold on to something. I do find whenever I take it out when wearing vaginally it makes me squirt a little.

Cleaning is simple just a simple wash in warm water and with an antibacterial soap will do. Any adult toy cleaner will also work as well. If you need to sterilize the plug (like for sharing or maybe hygienic reasons) you can do so by boiling for 3minutes. (Be careful when removing from boiling water that you do not burn yourself.)

Pyrex glass is compatible with all your favorite lubes. Be sure to use lots of lube and take your time to use this plug, you not using enough lube or you going to fast could result in hurting yourself.

Moon shine comes packaged in a red velvet pouch and wrapped in bubble wrap. The pouch is not padded, but is suitable for storage. I recommend storing in the pouch in a safe place away from other glass toys. The size is even small enough to be packed away in your purse or suitcase, awesome for travel. The packaging is discreet and appropriate to leave unwrapped if gifting.
