This was my second anal toy and my first glass toy that I have purchased.

I am really into anal play, but my last toy was too pointy (and not 100% sterile like glass), so I wanted more of an anal plug with width and shorter depth. I was very excited to order this toy from SSA Glass and it definitely lived up to my expectations!

I am by no means an anal beginner, and I would not suggest this for a beginning anal toy. Start with something way less girthy. However, for me, the Moon Shine took a little finagling to ease into my ass (as most girthy toys do), but once it was in, it was gold. The flared base makes this a safe sex anal toy (never use something without a flared base anally).

Because it is glass, you can completely sterilize the toy and use it on multiple partners and also not worry about anal germies clinging to your toy. Once popped in your ass, the fullness of the bulbed top fills you up quite nicely while the narrower base is still thick enough that you know you have something in your ass; you won't forget about this toy once it's in. Again, it wasn't too uncomfortable, so it didn't feel annoyingly present; it just nicely there.

I also like heating this toy up before use especially because cold toys in the ass (or anywhere, really) just suck. If you haven't used a glass toy yet, get one. They are amazing, and they feel as warm as a person does. If you're into cold temperature play, you can pop it in the fridge for a bit. (Make sure you test all toys before inserting using the back of your hand to make sure it isn't too cold or too hot!)

I like to put this plug in while I'm being penetrated vaginally. My partner can slightly feel it as it makes it feel much "fuller" and therefore a snugger, more delicious fit for your partner. :)

Because I really enjoy the feeling of pulling out anally, this wasn't the best toy for that. It's a given that anal plugs are meant to be popped in and left that way. I would probably get a smaller headed anal toy next time as I like to pull toys in and out, and with this (and other plugs), they aren't really meant for comfortable penetration (as a plain shaft or dildo would be).

This glass anal plug is a great toy, but has become too girthy for me.
As I said in my original review, it is quite girthy for a beginner, and double penetration can be difficult. I used to enjoy a "fuller" feel, but now this is only good on its own - I can't use this and something vaginally at the same time.
I am now shopping for more anal toys that are smaller and made of silicone. Glass is very sterile, beautiful, and smooth, but very unforgiving. I like the ease of silicone going in and out without worrying about pain.
