Like you've probably heard before with glass, either you'll love it or you'll hate it, and the Moon Shine is no different.

It's made of pyrex glass, so it's extremely safe, but you'll want to cover it with a condom before sharing if you're doing that with a partner. It can be washed with soap and water, toy cleaner, or in a dishwasher. Because it's glass, you can warm or cool it before using, but I'd suggest not getting it too warm if you're going to use it anally (unless that's your predilection). It can be used with water, silicone, or oil based lubricants.

It has a beautiful swirled design with colors through the clear glass and is large enough that it's quite lovely to look at when it's inserted either anally or vaginally. The bottom has a large, clear, flat back to it, so it sort of magnifies the view one would have of the colors mixed with the view of the inside of your (or your partner's) body with the plug inserted.

It's designed as a butt plug, but when I held it for the first time, I knew it would be far too large for me to use anally, so I decided to try letting it sit vaginally while I used my Fairy Wand Rechargeable. It sat extremely well and provided a really nice sensation when I pulled and pushed on it a bit during masturbation.

Because pyrex glass isn't porous, it takes only a small bit of lube to get a really silky and smooth feel going - and there's less refreshing of lube to keep it going if you're pulling in and out. There's no smell or taste with this toy, and it was cool to the touch from the moment I took it out of the bag.

I was REALLY impressed with the difference of the widest width of the head of it and the width of the shaft of it. I'd thought of other toys and researched them - there were a few that were a little more impressive (aesthetically speaking, I prefer pinks, reds, and purples) but, like the Violet Moon Plug, have much thinner shafts - I thought that might be awkward (maybe even painful) to remove after masturbation or sex.

If you've never experienced glass, it's extremely firm and has no give to it whatsoever. It's a really nice part of it because the feeling of fullness doesn't go away.

I loved the design of this. As I said earlier, the best thing about it (for me) is there's not much difference between the width of the shaft and the width of the head. It's still wide, still fairly large (and could be a bit frightening, maybe not something a first time user or beginner level user would even want to attempt), but the "shock" of going from a wide head to a very thin shaft wouldn't be a worry.

It's almost 4" long, and 3" of that is insertable. It's shaped like a penis (with a head and a shaft) but there are no ridges or bumps. It's smooth from top to bottom.

It's very discreet because it's so small but is something that could be worn for extended periods.

I honestly can't think of a thing I don't like about this toy, but I dislike that it did not come with a carrying case or packaging. When I got it out of the bag, it was only in a dark red velvet case and the toy was in bubble wrap. I would really have liked a carrying case or even a plastic box to take it out of. It felt really cheap to only have the velvet bag show up in the USPS box.

Because this is glass, cleansing and lubricant products and procedures aren't really a worry. You can use pretty much any cleanser and any lubricant with a glass toy. When storing it, make sure it's in a cool, dry place.
