Ryde all day and night

What an awesome plug! This is a wonderful buy. There is no smell whatsoever and it is so soft and is very comfortable. The Ryder will move with your body and you will feel relaxed wearing it whether you are wearing it for yourself or to have a nice double penetration without being stretched to the max. It takes on your body temperature very nicely and that also helps with how comfortable it is. I would suggest this toy to also warm you up for a larger one.
I have had problems with lengths of plugs but this one seems not to bug me with a total length of 4 1/4" and an insertable length of 3 3/4". A great diameter of 1 1/2" its not too big and not too small. This is not a very heavy one weighing at 0.5 lbs. If your looking for a toy with some weight this is not the one, but you wont regret buying it anyway.
The Ryder is made of a food grade hypo-allergenic silicone that is very nice. Cleaning this plug is really easy, whether you use a toy wipe on it or antibacterial soap and water. You should use water based lube on this because silicone lube will break down the toy over time and make the material not as safe.
I have worn this out in public because of how comfortable it is. I love how sexy this plug makes me feel when I wear it. Its great to know that the plug is a safe material to give a little peace of mind. I honestly cannot find a flaw in this plug, there is no seams and is such a great feel when inside because it flexes with your body when you move. I have even slept with this toy in and have been absolutely comfortable during the whole night. I would suggest it to anyone.

Experience
I LOVE this plug. This was my first plug and it remains my favorite. I love to have it in and wear it around the house to feel full as well as to wear out and just feel sexy. I have also worn this while making love with my Dom and it has given me a wonderfully intense feeling without being overfull. And wearing it before he comes home helps to get me ready for anal sex. I keep on reaching in my toy box for this plug and will keep on doing so for a very long time. I would recommend this for beginners as well as experienced players for the wonderful comfort that Tantus puts in their silicone toys.

The Ryder in Copper is so pretty. I'd love to see more toys offered in this colour. :) Is that likely to happen at all? I haven't seen it on any other listing. Is this colour discontinued?

Is this colour discontinued?Yes, it sure has been discontinued. It was weird - Copper was a slow seller, and we got some feedback from retailers that it wasn't at all popular. Then when we discontinued last Spring it got snapped up pretty quickly. I only have closeouts left, but we're hoping that by discontinuing Copper we'll have more time in the production schedule to pursue other colors.

Some, not all silicone lube will 'stick' to silicone material. I have read that some premium silicone lubes will work with some premium silicone materials. You can try some on the base and see, when I last tried it kinda etched the silicone material. (does that make sense) It left a indentation were the lube was.
That's the basics, Some of the other members can give a more technical answer. -
Some silicone lubes will bond to some silicones. This seems to be more of an issue the softer the silicone is, so toys like O2 and VixSkin will be more susceptible (makes sense, as the silicone has fewer crosslinks). Quality lubes seem to have less of a problem also, and it is likely that cheaper silicones might have more of a problem.
I have tested quality silicone lube on several quality silicone toys and did not notice a permanent problem, but (a) the toys developed "hives" that lasted for a few hours (was gone the next day) and (b) it's really hard to clean the silicone lube off of the toys, but it can be done. While this is purely subjective, but it seemed that the silicone lube wasn't as "lubey" on silicone toys. I don't use silicone lube on silicone toys anymore - it's just not worth the trouble.

That's funny. Two of the toys that I want to purchase are out of stock as well. The Vixen Ryder and Johnny. Then I noticed that several Vixen products are out of stock at the moment. I wonder when all of these toys will be restocked.

Great first review. I have it and haven't tried it yet but fully intend to. I know I will need a bit of warm up for this one since it is 1 1/2 as you say.
I would recommend that you use the extended template next time. Also, as for recommending this to beginners, IDK. This is a medium sized plug and I know that when I first got it it was difficult to insert because it is not tapered enough. I was not an anal virgin by any means either. I am used to this now, but it took a little practice. That being said, it is my favorite plug to wear for long periods. It is comfortable and stays put. Thanks for the review!
I do appologise, it does vary from person to person. I did recommended this to a newbie to anal play and going slow she got it in and really really likes it. However I do see that 1 1/2" could be difficult for some.
