Beauty with Bite
This shiny chrome device looks like a medieval torture device or some bizarre medical tool best avoided, but looks aside this beauty with bite can bring some exquisite sensory stimulation. It's business end provides a sensation akin to that of a sharp blade without the hassle of broken skin, and all on an easy to grip, comfortable handle.Published: July 12, 2010
Pros:
Sleek and shiny, light weight, delicious sensation.
Cons:
It's scary looking (is that a con?)

I still love my wheel! I actually have two; one i use on me and the other i use to break in the rosin blocks for my cello. Perhaps I should get a third to use as a kinky meat tenderizer!

Writing my review made me wonder -- has anyone had rust issues with the pinwheel sold here?
-
Interesting question. Since it's chrome plaited steel, I would assume it could possibly rust because chrome does oxidize over time.

Quote: Writing my review made me wonder -- has anyone had rust issues with the pinwheel sold here? Can't say that I have had rust issues - it's made of chrome-plated brass from what I've observed. My #1 problem with my wheels (regardless of source) is that you're pretty much on your own to find a suitable sheath - they will poke through many materials, and I've had at least one that poked through something and bent the tines.
That one does not get used in play.

Wartenberg Pinwheel: Any On The Way?
-
I'm literally aching to snag one of the Wartenberg Pinwheels link but they're sold out and I'd like to know when they'll be back, or maybe if theres one stray floating about the inventory from the move... I don't like the Fetish Fantasies one, it looks so cheap and less intense (a bad thing for me).
Does any of the warehouse people know if there's anymore of these buggers lying around? I just want 1! :( -
I'll let the product manager know about this. Thanks for asking.
-
Hello ShadowKitten! The pinwheels are currently on order and we are hoping to have them available by the end of the week, so just hold on and they will be in soon.

I'm curious to see if anyone's tried using a sewing tracing wheel as a less-intense alternative, or first step to using a Wartenberg pinwheel?
-
why would you want a less intense toy. The wheel is not all that bad.
-
The Wartenberg pinwheel is only as intense as you want it to be. If you lightly trace it over the skin, it isn't at all prickly, but the harder you press, the more intense it becomes.

Finally! The Pinwheel!
-
I was uber excited to see that the Wartenberg pinwheel will soon become available at Eden, but does nayone have any more info about it? Will toys from the Stockroom soon be available here? This totally makes my day!
Thanks :D -
I was definitely excited too, cannot wait to get it!
-
I'm super excited too and can't wait to buy one. Finally all of us squeaky wheels got our wish ;)
I think we're only carrying like one or two things from Stockroom.
I asked Maxim, our Product Manager, to hop in here and let us know when these will be in stock and all that jazz.

Thank you for viewing Wartenberg pinwheel – sex toy review page!

This can break the skin. Easily. Just sayin'. And Wartenburg was spelled wrong in the first couple paragraphs. But yeah, I totally agree - this is an amazingly fun toy.
Really? I've never broken the skin on myself or others, I think you get more sensation from t going light to mediumnpressure and slow, as opposed to the "tenderizing meat" method
This things looks really scary, but very interesting. Great review!
I have this one myself and love it to run up and down my back!
I would not trust a lot of people with this.
(lol at first I wrote that I would not thrust a lot of people with this... Hahaha I hope not!)
Had my kinky little eyes on one of these for a while. It was actually, originally a medical device, used to test sensation and perception of sensation. My Neurologist has one and I always want to giggle when he takes it out. (I have had TIAs, (ministrokes) so my ability to feel sensation on both sides of my body is important for my health. So he's used this after a suspected TIA or during a regular Neuro exam.)
I think it would be more fun with My Man, though.
Good review.
Thanks for the review!
I have been wanting one of these for a long long time
This scares me! but you did an awesome review. I'm intrigued, but I'm still unsure of what I want as far as pain in bed! lol
Aww there's pleasure in the pain, I wont play with anyone without the pain.
It is pretty scary looking, thanks for the review!!
