The Liberator Fascinator throe is a classy, sexy, luxurious surface that was designed with sexual pleasure in mind. Its sensuous surfaces enhanced my orgasms by adding gentle tactile stimulation. It's also possible that I came harder and longer because I knew that my waterfall of pleasure would not ruin the bedding. It is nice to set the scene for sex by draping the throe over a bed (or sofa or bathroom floor) and spreading the throe would work as a subtle way of communicating desire to a partner.
I chose the Onyx throe and found it rich looking and pleasurably soft. I've washed it several times and it doesn't hold stains or odors at all. Love juice air dries quickly on its surface so it is possible to air it, store it, and then use it again without sacrificing absorbency.
The satiny side is subtly shiny, not gaudy looking or slippery. I've enjoyed sliding around on it. Traction isn't a problem even though the surface lends itself to sliding. I wouldn't be worried about using it satin side down on a smooth surface such as kitchen linoleum.
I'm a prolific gusher and there has not been any soak-through with the throe. I'm sure that it will extend the life of my other bedding. It's great during that time of the month because I can relax and not worry about leakage and stains. I just pop the whole mess in the washer and it comes out looking brand new.
My throe has turned my bed into a love nest. It has whet my appetite for the Ramp, the Esse and other Liberator sex furniture. It's appearance is sufficiently discreet to allow it to serve as an in-flight blanket or a beach blanket. Keeps the sand out of your hiney while you're getting it on at the beach!

I washed my throe as per usual in a large, commercial machine with mild, eco-friendly organic laundry care product. When I pulled it out, I gasped. All was not well in paradise. It looked as though a very hungry cat who lived inside the washer had feasted on my throe! I was not at all satisfied with the quality of the throe, now that it had failed to survive it's second wash cycle. I've sent it back and am waiting for complete satisfaction from Eden which I expect to receive soon.

An easy to transport waterproof blanket is always a nice thing. For some it's not a necessity and is overrated, but it can change the lives of others.

If you aren't a female ejaculator, it might not be such a big deal for you. But for those of us who occasionally (or regularly) soak through blankets, comforters, etc... this thing is a life saver, just as Sam said. I don't know that everyone would need it, but I think it's fantastic! :)

Ok, So I have seen three different throws on EF. One is the Fascinator, The Liberator and the Safari throw. What is the difference between them? Other than the patterns obviously. The differences between the purple ones (liberator and fascinator) is what Im really wondering. They look the same to me?

We just got ours and I'd have to say yes. Alan & I have paid almost that much for "normal" comforters for our bed, and they've not been as warm as the Fascinator, nor water resistant.

For me it's not worth it yet... But that's because I don't really get messy with sex. Maybe when I have a place and can have sex anywhere, or when I live with my guy and we have more time to experiment...
I think for it's features it's definitely worth the price. And I've heard good things about the size I think, or at least never BAD things.

Can the Liberator throe withstand oils?

I want the throe, but mainly so we can play with oils (oiled sex anyone?) and not have to worry about staining the bed. But will it stain the throe? I want to keep it pretty!

Yes, I hesitated to purchase the throe because it was so expensive. I tried cheaper department store throws first but I finally succumbed to its charms and I'm glad that I did. It's a high quality item and I expect that it will last. I'm thinking of trying a Ramp next.
I have to say that the Ramp is an excellent piece of sex furniture to have and I'm sure you would enjoy it very much. The throe looks awesome, thanks for the review.
