Fascinator posh throe - throw discontinued by Liberator - review by teachmetouchme

This large (54" X 71"), double-sided, waterproof thin throe/blanket/pad is everything Liberator says it is, and then some! It is designed to protect any surface from bodily fluids during sexual encounters (partners, solo, groups, etc.). It is large enough to completely cover the top of a queen size mattress.

We have used it to protect our mattress — once used, simply pull it off, toss it in a corner or your hamper and you are ready to move on to your next activity — be it getting dressed to go out or to fall asleep in a warm and dry bed. We have used it to protect our carpet if we decide to spread out, watch a movie and participate along with the scenes or to enjoy some food play along with sex — or maybe just an innocent picnic in the den with the kids. No worries about spilling spaghetti sauce or milk — we have yet to find anything that stains this pad.

The Liberator throe is 100% polyester. One side is a soft microfiber and the other side is a textured, moderately shiny satin. Between the layers is a thin waterproof material. It is thin enough so there is not really any padding quality to it, so if you are using it on a hard surface, do not expect "plushness" but it will protect any surface from liquids of all kinds.

Our throe is solid black on both sides and is a deep, dark shade of black. There are no tonal qualities to the coloration and it has remained true to its original shade since we have had it. It has not faded or spotted at all, which is something we appreciate. It is nice to know that what you receive will remain the same for the long duration of its lifespan.

This is a durable protection pad. It is sewn well, the seams are strong and we could not find any hanging threads or open spaces in the stitching. This is our 1st Liberator item and if this is an example of their quality workmanship, I would not hesitate to purchase any of their other products.

You can use this pad with either side face up although we prefer to use the microfiber side face up — it is softer against the skin. We have been known to use it on top of our sheets just for sleeping because it really feels good against your skin. Imagine, not needing to have sex to use and enjoy a sex product! Wonder of wonders!

Unlike some of the reviews we read, we found this pad to stay in place during use. It was also very quiet — we did not experience the crinkling noise some others mentioned.

This arrives in a clear, hard plastic box with an insert that has a sexually explicit picture on it. Other than the insert's picture, there is nothing overtly sexual about this. You can feel comfortable giving it to your incontinent grandparent, a baby, your siblings or parents — just about anyone. Let them figure out what to use it for — they may have suggestions for you.

This is so easy to care for — 100% washer and dryer compatible. It comes out softer than it went in and we are yet to find anything that stains it. Since there are no loose ends, nothing will catch in the washer or dryer. My only suggestion is, like any large blanket, when you place it in the dryer, every 10 minutes take it out and rearrange it so that it does not ball up on itself and take a long time to dry. No special detergents are needed and of course because of the colors, no chlorine bleach. I use dryer sheets to prevent static cling and lint collection.

For storage, I just fold it up and put it in our linen closet. If you are storing it for a while, it will fit easily in a trash bag to keep it clean.
