Cush It, Cu-Cush It REAL Good!

The O2 Cush is a high quality dildo with a firm interior material and a soft exterior which helps prevent discomfort/bruising during rough thrusting. It is a relatively girthy dildo and therefore not one that I would recommend for beginners (but it really is a matter of what you are looking for). It's a fantastic design and I really can't say anything bad about it (I tried, there wasn't anything to say!)

Use

Use? Just one? NO WAY!!! This baby is good for pretty much everything! Vaginal, anal, strap on sex, g-spot stimulation... One thing that I wouldn't suggest the O2 Cush for? Beginners. This is NOT a small, non-threatening dildo. This puppy is large and in charge and if you give it a chance, it will rock you like Queen (clap clap stomp).

Material / Texture

The O2 Cush is made from 100% superior silicone which is non-porous, phthalates free, latex free, sterilizable, and just plain old desirable! It is however, important to note that a toy being non-porous does not negate the use of condoms when sharing or switching holes; new person/hole, new condom. To prevent viral or bacterial transfer, you want to keep this baby clean and wrapped up like it's Christmas! (Ho! Ho-Ooh Santa, yes! Yes! YES!!!)

It's like the reverse of Italian bread, rigid and firm on the inside, soft and squishy on the outside. YUM. This makes it perfect for riding and thrusting, because the firm core keeps it from folding on you at inopportune times and the shell of a soft semi-realistic material with that real skin plush but not the real skin texture. Think of it as being a hard rubber dildo, wrapped in a squishy exterior that prevents cervical bruising and sore labia. There really is no gauge as to whether this material is better for beginners or sex toy aficionados, because in my opinion it should be the standard for what dildos are made of.

The Cush is odour free and flavour free. It is not sticky, tacky, or rough, but smooth and pleasant to touch. It isn't a lint magnet, but it's not made of glass or hard plastic so you might pick up the occasional hair or lint. (Don't worry though, it should rinse off easily!)

    • Harness compatible
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this baby is fantastic: the ridges are designed to stimulate the g-spot, and boy do they work! During thrusting, the ridge at the base of the head provides g-spot stimulation, while the ridge on the shaft stimulates the vulva. While riding, the ridge on the shaft will stimulate a shallow g-spot very easily. The rounded ridge of the head is larger than the more angular ridge on the shaft but the ridge on the shaft is easily as stimulating because of the shape.

This is a fairly girthy dildo, not something I would recommend for beginners, and definitely something I would suggest a little lube with. I would also recommend this only for advanced anal players, not just because of the girth, but because the ridged texture has the potential to be irritating or even painful if the sphincter is not properly relaxed.

The base is designed specifically for use with a harness, and a 1,3/4" harness ring should work well with this, but if you are concerned a 2" ring will work just as well. The way it sits on a harness, and the stability, will depend mostly on the quality of the harness because it is a rather heavy piece. It should however fit comfortably with all harnesses.

Performance

This dildo performs admirably. The stiff core makes thrusting and riding easy, the ridges feel fantastic and the softer surface silicone helps prevent bruising and irritation (if the entire dildo were comprised of the stiffer material, the ridges on the shaft would have far more potential to irritate).

The Cush did fit well with my harnesses and was comfortable at first, but the heavier weight became a problem with more vigorous play in a flimsier (Nylon strap) harness. There were no problems with my sturdier leather harness.

Care and Maintenance

Since the O2 Cush is a silicone dildo, it is non-porous and simple washing with warm water and mild soap is generally all that is required. However if you have been using the toy for anal play, or are planning to use it with a new partner it is possible to sanitize it by boiling for 5 minutes or soaking in a 10% bleach solution.

As with any silicone toy it is important to keep it away from silicone composites as they can compromise the material or lead to break down. This goes for silicone lubes as well. There is nothing more disheartening than discovering that your favourite dildo has become dick soup.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The O2 Cush comes in a clear plastic package, with a clear plastic moulded insert. It's not something that I would recommend for prolonged use as storage, so it's nice that it happens to be recyclable. Though the packaging itself is fairly discreet... that you can see the product through it negates the usefulness of this feature somewhat, if not entirely.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Recyclable

  • AWESOME!
    • is this toy as awesome as it looks?!
    • If you view the product page, you'll see that there are 12 reviews on this toy. 11 of the reviews are 5 stars, whereas 1 is 4 stars. Overall, it looks like this toy is, indeed, as cool as it looks.. but I haven't personally tried it.

There may also be a 3 star going up soon a I just can't find a reason to give it four or five. I'm really spending some time using it though - I also have the O2 Flurry and the O2 Revolution....and I much prefer both of those.

  • Cush O2 vs O2 Revolution
    • Which O2 product in your opinion is better in general, for vaginal sex, anal sex, and strap on play. Please give opinion for each type of sex play.
    • I really like the Cush. The Revolution is just too large, especially the head. I have only used for vaginal, though.

Thanks for your response. Is the cush smaller girth wise than the revolution cuz they both have the same diameter listed.
