Crush on O2's Cush!

O2's Cush may be a larger size than average users are used to, but those who can handle its larger girth are in for a fantastic time! Those looking for a smaller version should try the Flurry or another O2 linked at the bottom of the review. The amazing workmanship of O2 is something everyone should experience, no matter what girth they enjoy!

Use

O2's Cush is great for solo use or use with a harness to penetrate your partner. Suitable for vaginal and anal penetration, how you use it is completely up to you! Keep in mind that it has a larger girth, which I will completely cover further in this review. However, with a little lube (and determination!) the Cush should fit a good portion of users comfortably.

Material / Texture

The O2 Cush is made of dual-density silicone. This basically means that the inside of the dildo is made of a firm silicone while the outer layer is made of squishy-soft silicone. The material is absolutely fantastic and feels much more life-like than regular silicone.

The Cush is firm enough to use without much guidance, but is still flexible and soft to the touch. This material is very safe, as thrusting should not cause bruising of the cervix like with other materials. Silicone in itself is a very good material for dildos, as it contains no pores and resists bacteria. If you like the squishy-soft feeling of silicone without sacrificing firmness and performance, this line may be perfect for you.

Now, the texture of the Cush is also really nice. There isn't a lot of texture, so those sensitive to it won't be bothered by this product. However, while it is mostly smooth, there is very noticeable texture to the Cush. Instead of bumps or swirls, the Cush features a more "realistic" texture--the head and the ridge on the shaft. This ridge is great for g-spotting if you can get this product all the way inserted!

Design / Shape / Size

Length: 7"
Insertable length: 6 3/4"
Circumference: 5 1/2"
Diameter: 1 3/4"
Weight: 10.5 oz

The head and shaft of the dildo measure 6.75", so you have a lot to work with, especially considering the 1.75" diameter! Size is not lacking in this product. In all honesty, if you are on the fence about the size, I might suggest you look into the Flurry, a smaller version in the O2 line. (I've linked to its product page at the bottom.)

This is a girthier and heavier dildo, so I do not suggest it for beginners for either solo use or partner-play. Those new to toys will not want to start off with something this big. That being said, you should have some decent experience with strap-ons before attempting to harness this and mount your partner. Because of the size and weight, as well as the softer material of this dildo, beginners will have a lot of trouble trying to control this in a harness. That being said, be sure your partner is also ready to be penetrated by this toy if you are using this as a strap-on. This is a large dildo for anal use, and can even hurt vaginally if pushed in too fast or without proper lubrication.

The base is a perfect circle, which makes it easy to use in both solo-situations as well as with a harness. The base is about 0.25" thick and has the most concentration of color in the toy. This blue version, called "Ice," is mostly a frosty white color with some blue showing through the core. However, the base is bright blue, and the color fades up from there.

Performance

Arguable size-queens and those who like a little (or a lot!) of girth once in a while will love the stunning performance of the O2 Cush. The soft outer layer keeps things comfortable during use, while the firm inner core adds to the life-like experience. If size is not an issue, this product is absolutely comfortable due to the amazing dual-density silicone.

While the base is not a suction cup, there is a tiny layer of a ring around the outside, so if you press it directly onto a flat surface, it can act like a suction cup and stay put while it moves around. While this is nice for those who play on a table or floor, keep in mind that it will not stick to--say, a shower wall.

However, the base makes it harness compatible! Just keep in mind that this dildo has a bit of weight to it and (as mentioned in the previous section) beginners to strap-on sex will have difficulties controlling this product. Try using smaller/lighter products before giving this one a try.

Care and Maintenance

Because it is made of silicone, you can clean this product a number of different ways:

* Boiling for three minutes.
* Top shelf in the dishwasher.
* 10% bleach solution soak.
* Antibacterial soap and water.
* Toy wipe/toy spray.

Store this product in a clean, dry place such as a drawer, toy box, or bag. Keep in mind that the softer silicone on the outer layer is a lint/hair/dust/dander magnet, so you might want to keep this product in a Ziploc bag while storing. A quick rinse before use takes care of any dust problems that may occur during storage!

Packaging

The O2 Cush comes in the typical Tantus-style packaging. I've gotten other Tantus products and they have all come in the same type of plastic-box packaging. The word "SILICONE" is written down the side, and the whole thing is transparent, so I would not consider this packaging to be discreet. There is information about Tantus on the back, as well as product details on the sides.

You may keep the Cush in its plastic shell or the box in came in, but it is not necessarily good for storage, in my opinion. I immediately recycled the box after opening.

Experience

This was my first experience with the dual-density silicone and I am very, very pleased. I believe the Cush has absolutely turned me onto this line, as well as the material in general. I am not specifically a size-queen, but I bought this for the rare occasion that I wanted something with more girth than my regular toys. It has served very well for that purpose and has me looking into toys with this material in smaller sizes for more regular use. However, I would not say that my Cush is neglected--I've grown quite attached to it!
