Goodfella - realistic dildo by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

I have been looking for a high-quality, realistic dildo with balls since the day I bought our first dildo. The problem is that every other dildo I could find with a sac was sculpted in such a way that the balls are always harnessed behind the o-ring which, at least for me, ruins the allure of having them there in the first place. (The exception is the Vac-u-lock Harness System, but they are another story all together. ) The Goodfella not only has balls, but they actually hang in front of the o-ring like the real deal. Bravo Vixen!!

The Goodfella measures about 1.5 inches in diameter along the insertable portion of the shaft. The insertable length is a little more than 5.5 inches long. The hanging scrotum is 1.75 inches by 2.75 inches. The base end requires a removable 2 inch o-ring in order to be used in a harness. Take the o-ring off, lip it over the top and bottom ends of the base and then snap it back into place in the harness. Because the base is not a full circle, this is actually pretty easy with a rubber o-ring. (Unfortunately, the Goodfella cannot be used in elastic o-ring style harnesses such as those made by SpareParts HardWear.)

The Goodfella is sculpted to have an impressively realistic look. The head has a pronounced rim and frenulum cleft. There is a ridge running down the underside of the dildo and sculpted veins all along its shaft. Additionally, there are textured foreskin folds near the head. Keeping with its realistic appearance, there is even a slight upward curve of the shaft. The best part is the hanging balls. The scrotum is complete with veins and puckered skin texture and a raised center line. It even stretches a bit when tugged on.

VixSkin is made from the highest quality silicone. It is body-safe, durable and incredibly easy to keep clean. Because it is non-porous, there are no microscopic places for bacteria to hide. Washing with soap and water is good for general cleaning. However, if you are going to share between partners or swapping between orifices, the Goodfella can be sterilized by boiling, soaking in a bleach/water solution or even running it through your dishwasher.

Unlike a lot of other silicone products, VixSkin has an amazing texture that is incredibly soft, extremely flexible and has a lifelike feel. Because it is so soft, it has a tendency to be somewhat floppy (like the scrotum). This is great for packers, but it isn't so good for insertable toys. To keep them erect, Vixen adds a firm core to its insertable dildos. Not only does this make them firm enough for insertion but it also enhances the realistic feel of this dildo. Squeeze a VixSkin dildo and it feels an awful lot like giving a real cock a squeeze. It also creates a natural look for the wearer because the dildo sort of bobs and sways like a real cock. I do kind of wish the scrotum had two testicles made from the same firm core material to give it an even more realistic feel.

As a pegging dildo, we could not be more pleased with the Goodfella. Its size, look and feel all lend itself perfectly to gender play. Mrs. Peg seems to take as much joy in having me fellate her dildos as I do in having her give me oral. I've always had balls for her to play with and suck on as well. Now that she has some balls too, I can return the favor.

Mrs. Peg gave the Goodfella a try as well. She was equally pleased using it vaginally. While on her knees, the scrotum played nicely against her clitoris. I also found the base made a comfortable handle to use while thrusting it into her.

Whichever way you intend to use the Goodfella, we are sure you won't be disappointed. While this does not carry the same lifetime warranty of many of Vixen's other products, it is made to their exacting standards. With proper care, this toy should provide years of enjoyment. Be sure to keep it from coming in extended contact with other toys that might leach their color into it. It should also be kept away from anything sharp (like cats' claws). Also, be sure to only use water-based lubes with the Goodfella. Silicone lubes will destroy this wonderful dildo.
