Goodfella - realistic dildo with balls discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by transboy

When I was first starting my transition a few years ago, I put a lot of research into finding a good playing dildo. I wanted one that was as realistic-looking as possible, and not too big or too expensive. The Vixen Creations Goodfella is the one I eventually decided upon - it ticks all three boxes!

The Goodfella is the first and only dildo I've ever owned, so I'm not really able to make a detailed comparison. However, I can say that it's a good size and weight, the silicone is very smooth, and the whole dildo is very well-detailed and of a high quality. One of the key selling points for me was the 3D balls, which aren't constricted by the harness - this little touch makes the whole dildo seem much more realistic than others that I've seen.

I'm a single, gay, trans guy, so I haven't had a chance to try my Goodfella out on anybody else yet. When I bought it, I also got the ASLAN Commando harness to wear it with, and from what I remember (it's been a while since I last strapped it on), the Goodfella fits perfectly in that harness.

Not having anyone else to try it out on, I frequently use the Goodfella for anal penetration of myself (not while it's strapped on, of course!). This dildo is a very satisfying length, and the girth is perfect for me.

From what I remember (I've had my Goodfella for at least a year now) it never had a particularly strong smell when it first arrived, and it definitely doesn't now.

The Goodfella both looks and feels very realistic - the silicone feels to be of a very good quality, and the texture is so soft that it feels very similar to skin.

I went with the Vanilla tone, and although it's a bit lighter than my skin tone, it's close enough to be convincingly realistic.

The Goodfella is made of dual-density VixSkin, which means that over a firm inner core is a softer and squishier outer layer of silicone, and this really adds to the dildo's realism. The Goodfella is slightly bendy, but it's this inner core that makes it firm enough for play, even for anal penetration.

I love the design of the Goodfella. I really think that it's the most realistic dildo that I've seen for its price. The details and texture on the head and the shaft, the firm 3D balls that aren't confined to a harness, the flat base which makes it perfect for both strapping into a harness and setting on my bed so that I can ride it - all of these factors make it this transman's dream playing cock. It's always worked very well for me, and I highly recommend it to other trans guys and anyone else who might be interested in it.

Not having had any experience with any other sizes or shapes of dildos, I have to say again that I was very satisifed with the length and girth of the Goodfella. However, I suppose that will definitely be a subjective issue, and will depend on your physical limits. From what I've read (unfortunately I don't exactly have any personal experience to throw in at this point), the Goodfella is about the size of an average erection (about 7" long x 1.5" wide), so I suppose that if you can handle that size, then you're good to go!

Being a relatively big and highly realistic dildo, the Goodfella isn't exactly well-suited for discretion or for traveling, I have to say.

I've only ever used the Goodfella for anal penetration of myself, and it always manages to get me very turned on. It doesn't feel too uncomfortably wide, and it's long enough that I definitely feel full enough when it's inside me. As I mentioned above, it can be slightly bendy, but once I've got it inside me, that's not a problem.

The Goodfella fits into a harness via its flat base, and I can personally recommend the Commando harness for this dildo. I haven't had an opportunity to test it out with any other harnesses yet, but I know from experience that the Commando harness holds the Goodfella very well.

I am aware that the Goodfella can be sterilized with boilling water, but I have not had to do this yet with mine. Whenever I've used it on myself, I've put a condom on it, which makes clean-up much easier - all I have to do is peel off the condom, then give it a quick wipe-down with a baby wipe to remove any lube that may have dripped down onto the balls or base.

Another bonus of the flat base is that drying the Goodfella is simple. Just set it on a flat surface. I store mine in a cardboard box with several other toys, and this has never caused me any problems.

Silicone toys can't be used with silicone lube, so be sure to keep those two away from each other!

My Goodfella came in a clear, plastic, clamshell-type box, which isn't really practical as a discreet place to store the dildo. It had some brief care instructions with it.
