The Small Silk dildo by Tantus is a wonderful piece. It’s the smallest of three sizes of Silk dildos they manufacture, and a wonderful dildo for beginning or warm-up anal play.

The Small Silk comes in a variety of colors. I chose purple, and it is a lovely, shiny shade. This dildo is only 4 1/2” long (with 3 3/4" insertable), and just 1” wide. The dildo has a gentle curve to it, and is firm with just a bit of give. It has a flat, wide base which is compatible with O-ring harnesses, and also makes the Silk ideal for anal play. It is the perfect size for a starting plug, and with a water-based lube slides in easily.

This dildo is made of silicone, so it’s smooth, non-porous, phthalates-free, latex-free, and hypo-allergenic. Silicone repels dirt and bacteria, and can be sterilized by boiling it for three minutes, or running it through the dishwasher (top rack only).

While the Small Silk can be used for vaginal play, it’s too small for me to use that way. I bought it specifically as a warm-up toy for anal play. Once it was lubed up, my husband was able to slide this easily into my ass, and I felt no discomfort or pain. Because it’s smooth, the Silk can be pushed in and pulled out with ease, and my husband had a great time fucking my ass with this. It’s also not too long, so you don’t have to worry about being impaled. It was a good preparation for the next toy we used – it didn’t seem to stretch me out terribly, but did get me used to having something inserted in my ass and wanting more.

Since the Small Silk is so thin, it did have a tendency to want to slide out when my husband wasn’t holding on to it. A gentle push of his finger on the base got it right back into place, though.

The Small Silk is a high quality dildo, and well worth the price. It will last for years to cum.
