Great first toy for the hesitant

If you need a non-intimidating toy to be your first step to a larger journey in penetration, this one is for you. It is the smallest and most comfortable toy you can find to do the job. The price is good for a first-step toy, but this is unlikely to be more than just that for you - a first step.

Use

The Tantus small silk is a fantastic toy for beginners, and can be used for vaginal or anal insertion. The small silk is the smallest dildo I have ever encountered, and for absolute beginners is probably the least intimidating starter toy out there. I would recommend this dildo for those who are new to penetration, whether vaginal or anal, but it will likely not be a thrilling experience for non-beginners. Could be used as a smaller step in a dilation set.

Material / Texture

The Tantus small silk is made out of a smooth, flexible silicone. It is latex-free and non-porous. It is very flexible and smooth, so it will not cause damage to your anal canal or cervix and can be thrusted with abandon. I haven't picked up any odor from the toy, and the material makes this toy very easy to clean.

Design / Shape / Size

The small silk is cute, compact, and non-intimidating. It has an insertable length of 4.25 inches, and a very small circumference of 2.25 inches. For those new to penetration, this is as small as it gets, a feeling like that of 1 1/2 fingers. Because the toy is so small, it can be great for traveling - I have kept it in my purse and forgotten it was there several times.

Performance

Some may find this toy too flexible for their liking. I wouldn't call it floppy, but it certainly isn't a hard toy. The flat base makes this toy O-ring compatible and can serve as a good handle for thrusting. The base does have a slight suction

Keep in mind that this toy is likely a first-step toy and won't stay a favorite for long. As a virgin that had never attempted vaginal penetration, this toy was a great first step for me. It was non-intimidating and I quickly got used to the feeling of this dildo and wanted something bigger. Since favoring bigger toys, I haven't gone back to this toy.

Care and Maintenance

Because of its material, the toy can be easily cleaned with soap and water or a toy cleaner. The dildo does attract lint and debris because it is silicone, and should only be used with water based lubes (remember that silicone lubes and silicone toys are not friends).

Packaging

The Tantus small silk was packaged in a cheap, hard-shell plastic box with the toy clearly displayed. It is not discreet packaging and I threw it out in favor of one of my own toy bags.
