Are you a very small woman, internally? Maybe you're a "gold star" lesbian, like my girlfriend? Or perhaps you've never tried anal penetration, but are curious? Possibly, you just want a very easy introduction to double-penetration. Or it could be that you just want a toy that feels something like a finger inside you. The small "Silk" by Tantus is perfect for any of these situations.

This is, I believe, the smallest silicone dildo sold by EF. It has a very smooth texture, a rounded tip, a simple cylindrical shape with a gently curved shaft, a nice solid base, and is made of a fairly squishy, bendable silicone. All of these features contribute to the safety and comfort of this lovely little toy. The round tip and smooth silhouette make insertion easy and enjoyable; the curved shaft gently stimulates the G-spot or P-spot; the softer material helps prevent any accidental bruising; the wide base makes it both harness-compatible and safe for anal play; and the silicone it's made of is completely body-safe (not to mention shimmery and beautiful).

For those who are not already firm believers in silicone, here are the basics: First, it's completely non-porous, which means that it's easy to clean and that no bacteria or other ick can hide inside it. Second, it contains no harmful phthalates, like many rubber and jelly toys do. Third, it can be sterilized using bleach, boiling water, or the top rack of your dishwasher without soap. And fourth, you should generally NOT use silicone-based lubricants with silicone toys, as the lube can break down the material of the toy. (I love water-based lubes, as they're safe for my body, as well as for all of my toys.)

The Silk, like many silicone toys, has no scent or flavor. As far as color, my first choice would have been the purple, but this was not a previously planned purchase--my partner and I found it at half-price in a local adult shop, and all they had was pink. However, this is a VERY pretty pink, and I am not normally a fan of pink. It's a delicate, semi-translucent, cotton candy or seashell pink, with swirls of shimmer throughout. Being made of a smooth silicone, it will feel a little tacky or sticky when it is clean and dry; because of this, you'll want to store it someplace safe from dust and lint--preferably upright--and you'll probably also want to use lube (definitely, for pegging), and again, make sure it's NOT a silicone-based lube.

Sadly, I cannot provide actual measurements at this time, because I was careless in my cleaning a few months ago and accidentally threw out a plastic bag containing our Silk! We had wrapped it up for traveling, and I later forgot there was anything but recyclable packaging in there. It is back on my wishlist, now. Hmmm...pink or purple??

This was the first toy I ever used for penetrating my partner. Previously, I had only ever used a single finger; two wouldn't fit. She experienced no discomfort with the small Silk. Though my partner and I are both more advanced dildo users now than when we first purchased it, the Small Silk still sees use as a warm-up dildo for her, and occasionally for me as well when I'm feeling particularly tight and/or sensitive. I'm also keeping it around with the expectation that I will eventually want to re-explore anal pleasures, and this smooth little bit of Silk, with its sterilizable silicone composition and flared base, will be perfect for that purpose.
