The Twisted Pleasure is a slim, textured, glass dildo that works best for thrusting, rotating, or a combination of the two. This was the second glass toy I purchased, and I think it is a good choice for beginners because the size and texture aren't overwhelming. It has a flared base which makes it safe for vaginal or anal use. The straight design doesn't lend itself to g-spot or prostate stimulation. Glass is a great material for temperature play. Be careful if using the Twisted Pleasure with a partner, because overzealous thrusting with this hard, textured toy could become painful.

This dildo is made from clear Pyrex glass, which is a very safe material. It is strong and resistant to shattering, so you don't need to worry about it breaking during use. If it is dropped onto a hard surface it will break into large chunks rather than shattering. Glass is non-porous and can be sterilized.

The Twisted Pleasure has a smooth head, and the shaft is covered in twisted, vertical ribs that provide an interesting sensation when the toy is thrust or twisted. I am sensitive to texture and do not find this toy to be painful or overwhelming. The vertical ribbing doesn't hurt my vaginal opening like nubs, bulges and horizontal ribs do.

The Twisted Pleasure is 6 1/2 inches long, with 6 insertable inches. The smooth, slightly bulbous head is 4 inches in circumference, and the shaft is slightly narrower at about 3 1/2 inches.

The shape and size work well for me anally, but I find it a bit too straight or narrow to be satisfying vaginally.

This dildo has phallic shape, and although it is not realistic, I think you'd have a very difficult time passing this off as anything but a sex toy. The clear, swirly glass is pretty. It sparkles and throws rainbows in the sunlight. It also allows a slight view inside the body while it is inserted.

The Twisted Pleasure doesn't work well for me vaginally. I can feel the texture at my opening, but it is barely noticeable against my inner walls. It provides an interesting sensation, but I find it neither pleasurable or unpleasant. The texture is more of a distraction than anything else, and it actually takes away from the feeling of the dildo's head moving inside me. Apparently texture doesn't do anything for my vagina. I seem to require either g-spot stimulation or a feeling of fullness, and the Twisted Pleasure really doesn't give me either of those things. This dildo is louder in use than any of the others I own, and makes a wet, squishy sound that I find a bit unpleasant.

When I tried it anally, the Twisted Pleasure redeemed itself for me. The size is perfect for me here; large enough to be pleasurable, and small enough that it doesn't require warm up. The smooth head pops inside easily. It also isn't overly long, so I can comfortably insert the whole shaft. I still can't feel the texture much internally, but it provides a lot of extra sensation to my anus, which I really enjoy. I like how I can use a straight in and out motion for less texture, or add rotation when I want more texture.

Glass is compatible with all types of lubes and can be washed with soap and water. The ribs hold onto lube and will pick up any particles that might be in the rectum, but it rinses off easily and I haven't had a difficult time cleaning the crevices. If you want to share between partners or use this dildo both anally and vaginally, it can be sterilized in boiling water or with a 10% bleach solution.

My Twisted Pleasure came in a red, velvet storage pouch with a drawstring and was surrounded with bubble wrap. The pouch is not padded and doesn't provide a lot of protection, so if you use it you'll still want to be careful about dropping it or letting the toy knock against hard objects. I use the pouch for storage, but I make sure to store the Twisted Pleasure between softer toys so it won't bang around when I open and close my toy drawer.
