Use
This is a great toy for beginners who want to try something that is both beautiful and on the small size with a curvy design. This toy can be used for both vaginal and anal play with beginners. Because of the rigid material it is made from, it does not move with your body as well as some toys. So only gentle play can be done with it or you take the risk of hurting yourself, but that is how it is with all glass toys.

Material
The Icicles No. 8 is a beautiful handmade dildo created out of borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is less prone to shattering or breaking if by chance you were to drop it. Instead of shattering into many tiny pieces like a glass cup would, it would simply snap or break into larger pieces that are easy to clean up. Because it is made from glass, it has less give like toys made from silicone. If you are too rough with it, you can actually bruise yourself. On the good side, you can use any type of lube and not have to worry about it damaging the toy. Since the Icicles No. 8 is handmade, there can be air bubbles in it, but the bubbles do not affect the toy and its performance in any way.

Design
The Icicles No. 8 is a very simple toy with a curve design and a bulbous end that can be used as a handle or can also have that end be inserted . It is great for beginners who want to experiment with something other than the usual straight design but are afraid to go all out with a toy that has both shape and texture. I say the greatest thing about the Icicles No. 8 is its beautiful look. The lovely blue helix going up the center of it is my favorite part about it.

Performance
The toy works great for first timers and beginners who want to try something a little different from the normal design for toys, but don't want to go all out. Its small size made insertion easy and painless. You will need to use some lube with the toy. With its low friction material, a little lube goes along way and you can use any lube you like. The Icicles No. 8 can be used for temperature play. You just put the Icicles No. 8 in a container of ice water for about 30 seconds for cold play and in a container for warm water for about the same time for warm play. When doing warm play, make sure the water is not too hot that you cannot take the heat. The skin on your hand is thicker and less sensitive then you are down there; if the water feels hot to your hand, then you take the risk of burning yourself down there. Also, never freeze or put your toy in the microwave to heat or chill it. You can damage the toy and hurt yourself.

Care and Maintenance
Because the Icicles No. 8 is made from glass, you can clean it using many different methods. You can use the usual warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner wipes. Because of the durability of the glass, you can boil, bleach, and wash in the dishwasher, ensuring a 100% bacteria free toy every time you boil or bleach it.

Packaging
The Icicles No. 8 arrives in a cute box that displays a picture of the toy on the front. There is a flap you can pull that is kept closed with hidden magnets. When you open the flap, it shows the toy inside. When you open the box, you will find the Icicles No. 8 placed tightly inside a piece of foam. I keep mine inside the box it came in because the toy does not come with a bag.

I still greatly enjoy my Icicles No. 8. It is my most beautiful toy in my collection, so far. I love its different-sized ends because both ends can be used for insertion, so both my partner and I can use the toy; you just have to be gentle when doing it.
