More Than Just a Hot Piece of Glass

When you are able to tear your eyes away from this beautiful hand blown masterpiece, Icicles No. 8 can be used safely vaginally and anally due to its flared base, although I have not personally used it for the latter. It can safely be used without a condom as long as it is properly disinfected later. Glass is non-porous, so it is very easy to clean. The Icicles No. 8 is definitely not the girthiest of toys, so size queens will find it lacking, but this toy is ideal for beginners to glass toys and for seasoned users who do not need much girth to satisfy them.

Glass holds heat and cold very well, so this toy can be used for temperature play. Simply soak it for a few minutes in a glass of ice water or heated water to turn up the sensation!

When used during solo play or with a partner, this toy will offer a good time, just remember to go gently if you want to avoid bruising. Glass is a very unforgiving material and could potentially injure the user if used too roughly.

Because this toy is made of glass, it earns a safety rating of 10. It can be used with a variety of lubes without fear of breaking down or damaging the toy.

The toy only comes in clear with the blue swirl in the middle currently. The outside seems to shimmer with a sort of rainbow luster if you look closely.

It is incredibly smooth to touch with zero texture and it does not grab at skin at all.

The toy is solid glass, so it is incredibly firm. If not used carefully it has potential to harm the user, so please be aware of how roughly you use it.

This toy has gentle curves leading down to its bulbous end. It is made of clear glass with a beautiful blue swirl stretching from the tip of the toy to the end.

The toy is a complete 7” long, with only 6” meant to be inserted, and is 1” in diameter at its smallest point and 1 ½” in diameter at its thickest.

The toy is considerably heavy, although not uncomfortably so. Some weight is expected with a solid glass toy. Without a proper measuring tool, I’d estimate the toy to be around 8 oz.

Simple to use, I recommend using this toy gently due to its unforgiving material and potential for bruising.

If used in temperature play, using the toy cold can cause numbing. Likewise, heating the toy too much can cause burning or other uncomfortable sensations, so be careful!

The shape of this toy was great for my body. It fit well and could be twisted and thrusted gently to add to the sensation.

Icicles No. 8 is incredibly durable and meant to last a lifetime if you care for it properly, so it is truly a great investment!

Because this toy is made of glass it can be disinfected with toy cleaner, with boiling water, or you can pop it in the dishwasher for a worry-free clean.

Although I have not had any problems with my toy scratching or chipping, to prevent these things the toy should be stored in a padded pouch or box and handled with care.

This toy's packaging gets an A+. It comes in an attractive box with a fold-out flap full of information and leading to a window to the toy. The toy is packed with styrofoam that provides excellent padding and can be used as storage.

I cannot get over how attractive this toy is. I almost want to put it on display. I could probably get away with it. It is just as much a piece of art as it is a sex toy.



Quite a few beginners tend to worry about glass toys breaking during use. Do not worry about this toy breaking! It is made to be incredibly durable and last a long, long time. This glass if made from a much stronger glass than your average jar or beer bottle, which is made to be used once and thrown out.

I experimented with temperature play for the first time with this toy. It really does hold temperature really well and can stay hot or cold for long periods of time. This toy was also my first ever glass toy, and served as an excellent introduction to the world of glass.
