A Fun Reminder
Overall, I would purchase these again. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, and do a good job of it!Published: November 8, 2011
Pros:
Excellent reminder to do kegels; improves strength and muscle tone; increases pleasure
Cons:
Tendency to give me motion sickness; cord could be easier to clean
Overall, I love the Lelo Luna pleasure bead system. After using them for several weeks, I have noticed an increase in the strength of my pelvic muscles, and my husband has as well. After giving birth to my youngest, I noticed an occasional 'leak' when laughing or coughing, and the Luna pleasure bead system has resolved that problem.
As busy as I am in my day I often forget to do Kegel exercises, but the beads definitely helped me to remember while I had them in. They are easy to insert and comfortable to wear, whether you are using just one bead or two beads in the silicone connector. The movement of the balls is easily felt while doing simple movements such as walking or cleaning the house, though vigorous movements like running tend to overpower the movement of the balls. They do make a small amount of noise, though I have not yet had anyone else hear it while I had them in, or at least nobody has commented or questioned it. It might seem louder simply because it is a noise coming from inside your body. I couldn't really tell the difference in weight combinations while using these beads, though it is definitely possible that others may be able to feel a difference. There is really no need to 'hold' these in, as they stay put with no effort, unless you are jumping around. Lube can, and should, be used sparingly when inserting these beads. Large amounts of lube are not necessary, will make it far more difficult to insert, and may make them slip out. They seem to be more geared towards reminding you to do your kegel exercises than forcing you to squeeze the entire time they are in.
My only issue with these balls is that I actually get some motion sickness if I leave them in for too long. I didn't really think that could be an issue, but if you are incredibly prone to motion sickness, I would only leave these in for a short while. I found that as long as I keep the beads in for no longer than the recommended period of time, I feel fine.

Experience
Using these balls for the suggested amount of time (30 minutes) seems to work the best for me. If I leave them in any longer than that, I tend to start getting sick from the motion of the balls. If you are very prone to motion sickness, I would stick to the suggested usage time.

using vaginal exercise balls with a nuva ring
-
has anyone had experience with using any exercise balls and a nuva ring birth control? is it awkward? do you take it out?
-
I had the ring for a while, and most balls shouldn't get in the way of it. When taking them out, sometimes they catch on the ring, but it's easy to just put it back in. I wouldn't worry about it!

I have a small Vajay-jay and i was wonder will a 2 1/2 inche hurt?

With some lube, a lot of warming up, and some practice you can fit most toys that Eden sells. I'm not sure if you're talking about diameter or length, but either way be patient and work yourself up!

they look great ,, think with some lube it won´t hurt:-)

I have a discount for a LELO toy...which should I get?
-
I have a 40% off discount to Lelo's website, but I don't know what to get. I already own the Ina, the Ella, and the personal moisturizer. Of course I want EVERYTHING, but at this point I've narrowed it down to a few things. The new Mia, the Luna Beads, the candle/massage oil, or maybe the Siri. I've been buying lots of sex toys lately which is why I'm leaning towards the Luna Beads because they're cheaper and I don't own any Kegel exercisers yet. What would you do with a discount as awesome as this one?

It's a lot better to bump up the thread you made yesterday about this than to start a new one.
However, the Luna Beads are definitely a great choice, I've heard a lot of great things about them. I don't think you'd go wrong with those :) -

The Luna Beads are fantastic! You can REALLY feel the internal balls moving with little movement. Even just bending over will create the rolling effect. I highly recommend them!
But all my Lelo toys are superb.

Question about the Luna Beads
-
Okay, I have received these and used them several times. I'm really not sure how I feel about them yet and have a few questions
What is the purpose of the balls inside? Are the 'vibrations' supposed to be pleasurable or do they somehow help with the muscle strengthening?
What is the purpose of having two different weights? Does this something help the muscles?
Why would you start with the lighter balls? It seems to me that starting with the heavier ones would make more sense?
Are there any recommendations for how to use these? Like certain activities? -

I've read somewhere that the weights are supposed to help with muscle strengthening, although I'm not sure how valid that claim is. Mostly they're referred to as being pleasurable.

The heavier the weight of the balls, the harder your muscles have to work to hold them in. The advantage of the Luna system is it gives you more options. I would recommend starting out with the lighter balls and see how those work for you, and then progressing to the heavier.
I go about my daily activities with my Smartballs. Cleaning is more fun with them :)
Hope this helped a little! -

Mostly they're referred to as being pleasurable. Thanks for the thoughts. I started with the heavier first. I did not find them harder to keep in at all. Perhaps the weight difference really doesn't matter as much as the claims? I felt them easier and I think that made it easier to remind me they were in. Furthermore, these things are so large (same size as the Smart balls actually) that you don't even need to use your muscles to keep them in.

I don't really find any pleasure from them and, actually, sometimes forget they're in so I wouldn't call them fun per se. -chuckles- Although, just leaving them in doesn't actually do anything, does it?

Thank you for viewing Luna pleasure bead system – sex toy review page!

Thanks for the first review.
What about cleaning? Did you have any issues with the balls falling out of the straps? I hadn't heard of the motion sickness issue before. Thanks for sharing.
Motion sickness?! I've never tried any products of this type before but I never heard of that and now I'm a tad bit worried because if that is possible, it would probably happen to me.. yikes! Thanks for the review hun!
The balls can be cleaned with an antibacterial soap and water, though how clean the string really gets is somewhat of a mystery. I have had no problems with the balls falling out of the straps, they fit in very snug, you almost stretch the straps around the balls. I had never heard of anyone getting motion sickness from something like this before, and at first I thought that maybe I was getting sick from something else, but after using these for about a month I realized that I only felt sick if I was using these for more than an hour. The feeling to me is very much like motion sickness, and it goes away within 5 minutes of removing the beads. Maybe I am just incredibly strange!
Thank you for your first review and welcome to the community. I hate that these gave you motion sickness, that is most unpleasant. I've been looking into buying these b/c like you after having 2 kids, things just aren't as tight and laugh, sneeze, coughs do make me leak as well. Thank you again.
these are pretty and i'm wishlisting them, thanks for posting this review!!
Thanks for sharing your review!
I would totally stop using these if you are experiencing something like motion sickness. Perhaps they are putting pressure on a nerve or something of the sort.
Thanks for the review!
